Shane's Famous Quesadilla Burgers

Tried this place for the first time tonight. At 6:35, I placed & paid for my order online & it said the order would be ready at 7:15. Once I arrived to pickup my order at 7:15, the staff seemed clueless that an order was even placed under my name. It appeared to me as if the order was never even started because I was told that it was not quite ready & that he would bring it out once it was. I asked how long it would be and he said about 20 minutes. I then told him my order was set for pickup at 7:15, and he told me that they got busy.… I’m not sure why they don’t have a backup plan in the case that they get too busy in the restaurant to where the To-orders are still being serviced instead of being completely put off to the side. Now as I’m sitting in my car waiting on my order, I’m reading several other reviews that are very similar to mine. So I guess if you order pickup from here and they get busy inside, expect to have to wait for your food as if you didn’t even place an order ahead of time. Once I was given my order, I checked the boxes to make sure I had everything. The food was cold, so I’m confused what the wait was for if my food wasn’t being made fresh to begin with? Also, adding onion rings to your order is an additional $5, which I was fine with, but come to open my box & I was only given 5! Not sure if they ran out or if that’s just the amount they give everyone but I was not very impressed with that. It’s unfortunate that we had this kind of experience because I was really looking forward to trying this place.

Best chicken, burger, quesadillas, and fries in Lafayette. 10/10 recommend!

Went to Shane’s for dinner last night with my husband and it was fantastic!! The atmosphere was great, the place was packed and we were able to watch the game. Service was great, the staff were all very friendly. There was one guy in particular from the kitchen (I don’t know his name) but he had me laughing and smiling every time he came to bring out food. You can tell the staff wants to be there which is always nice. Food was soooooo yummy! We had the southwest eggrolls, the rougaro and ragin Cajun tacos, and the chicken sandwich. All were phenomenal, I can’t wait to go back to try out more of the menu! Excellent place!!!

I honestly wish I could give this review on a number scale. It doesn’t really deserve a 10, but doesn’t deserve a 1. Went to the new location on Congress tonight. The employees are all over the place and there is no management to direct them. None of them besides the bar tenders know how to do their job. Our food was ordered together, but didn’t come out together. The menu is all over the place and doesn’t have everything on it. We couldn’t find how much a side of fries cost. The server said that none of the sides are on the menu. So how are the customers supposed to know? Sounds like Shane needs to really invest more time into his business. Sounds like Shane is all over the place like his employees. Let’s get to the food. We ordered the Lafayette quesadillas. It was good. The house sauce they put on the dish was a little heavy. Kinda took away from the entree. It was over powering. I really want to say what the worst thing that we ate. It was the order of fries. Shane really needs to look into getting a different type of fries. Nobody at our table liked them. This is sad cause I wanted to order the cheese fries and loaded fries next visit.

Meat & Shrimp were super fresh and seasoned perfectly.
Employees looked like they were having fun too.
That is always a plus.

Food is really good. Unfortunately, my order took 1 hour and 16 minutes to be ready. I ordered 2 burgers. Place is obviously poorly ran. Wasn't even busy while i was there. Even though the food was great i cant see myself going back.

The food is good but these people are as slow as molasses. Don’t go on you lunch break, you will be late. 14 minutes for an order of fries.

Food was good, service was hands down the worst I’ve ever had. Food took around 30 minutes, which was really not an issue, we were very patient. When we closed out, tickets were mixed by our server and caused confusion on her end. Again, we were patient, it was not a big deal. A worker (who was not our server) got involved in the situation, she tried to solve the problem but instead got irritated and quite literally fussed at us like children. She raised her voice and demanded one of us needed to pay as if we caused this issue. And to top it off, she demanded my friend to pay for something that he did not even order. Food ended up getting comped but honestly everything should’ve been taken care of after being spoke to like that by a worker. Wish i had spoken to a manager when we left but i couldn’t even fathom staying another minute there.

Located in the heart of Lafayette is Shane’s, home of the world famous quesadilla burgers. Pull up to this bad boy and I’m like oh cool they have a drive thru! Parking isn’t the best sitch in the world but it’s Louisiana.

Hours are interesting lol and they’re open from 5-8 so I waited til 5 and walked in. A very attentive staff welcomed me and sat me down. My man Shane put his whole life on the walls and I love it. Talk yo shit 1st team all Sun Belt!

Now this place is world famous for the quesadilla burgers which is what you think. Basically eliminate the bread and sub a tortilla in. Genius.

The Lafayette 8.5/10 - burger, crawfish, grilled shrimp, cheese, and “dats good sauce”. This is the reason god sent the plagues to ancient Egypt. This is gluttony and I loved every second of it. It might actually be too much lol

The Macinator 8.5/10 - how about we put a Philly cheese in a taco and add Mac and cheese to it and some sauce. Elite.

If I lived in Lafayette I would weigh 570 pounds with places like this. This place is elite. S/o big man who I assume is now skinny lol.
