This trick is about the most ghetto, dishonest, and unprofessional person I have ever met. She lied about being able to deliver a three tier cake that was very well communicated to her how we wanted it to look. She shows up with a cake that was crooked and didn’t look anything like what was ordered. When confronted and told that we were not happy with the cake she admitted in front of myself and three other people that she was disappointed in the cake also. She had to abandon the original look requested because she clearly couldn’t deliver. Then she uses decorations we had and stuck on the cake. Next she promises to issue a credit of $50 for not delivering what was ordered and says it will take 3-5 days for the credit to apply. It is now two weeks later and she still has not issued the credit. She is a joke and will never, ever get a reference from me. She also states that I’m being mean because I’m holding her accountable for what she promised and I am actually in the process of taking her trifling behind to small claims court. Be very cautious when dealing with this woman.
My daughter had a similar experience with her when she made a cake for her and then drives across town with the cake on the morning my daughter is supposed to pick it up. Of course she had been paid so now she tells my daughter that she has to drive across town to get the cake. So very sad that people like her are in business they really shouldn’t be in.
Also let me mention that we rented her cake stand for $35 of which we were supposed to get $25 back when the cake stand was brought back to her. We agree to meet at Super 1 in Carencro and then she changes that location. I get to the new location and give her the cake stand but I don’t get the $25 back then. I now had to wait for her to submit it thru PayPal. She sends it as an echeck which took almost 10 days for it to clear. However when she requested her payment it posted immediately because I didn’t send it as an echeck. Just a horrible experience.
