I ordered the fried catfish. It was served fresh and the portion was very plentiful. Most importantly, the fish was seasoned well and had a lemon flavor. Very nice! The veggie of the day was seasoned steamed broccoli, which, again was very tasty and fresh! I ordered a side salad, should have skipped that. The lettuce was wilted and brown. Over all, nice meal for $22 tax included.

So I tried the fried crab stuffed trout with ettoufe and potatoes au gratin. The trout had a good flavor but it was dry. The ettoufe.... As a Cajun, I should have known better..... It was just OK (barely). The cheese on the potatoes was pretty strong. The broccoli was good but a little under cooked IMO (I like it soft, this was still crunchy). My wife had fried shrimp that were pretty good. At this point I would not say, "you gotta try this place", but I'd go back and try something else. If you go, and you know what good ettoufe is, avoid the ettoufe dishes. The waitress was very nice. It was 40 degrees outside and probably 60 inside so we had to eat with our coats on.

Armani is such a sweet girl. There was alot going on inside the restaurant and she still managed to keep our table in line. As well as others. She communicated very well. And got our food to us in good timing right before we caught our flight. Food 8/10! My husband and I will be back for another stay!

Had the breakfast buffet on Sunday, May 7th. Truly wanted an omelet, but regular dining options weren't available. The grits were horrible, and the scrambled eggs & hash browns were ok. The price was $14 per person. It's not bad for the price, but I would have paid more for a fresh omelet.

Great hotel great people Amani and Megan are nice. Also are very quick on their feet. We had a great time laughing with them. And it will not be long before we’ll be back. God bless much love
