SoLou - Lafayette

We went July 10 at around 6pm. Was seated fairly quickly. When asked what we wanted to drink, we all wanted ice water, we were served in little blue glasses, tap water, no ice. We received our menus and ordered, My husband had a half rack of ribs, my son had the steak, and I had the shrimp and grits. The food portions were not what we expected for the price we paid. My shrimp and grits were not quite what I expected for south Louisiana, that's my favorite dish and that's what I order most of the time when we eat out. My husband said his ribs were not very good. My sons steak strips were ok he said. However, when we got the check, we were charged for a full rack of ribs, when i brought it to the servers attention, she said, oh that's my mistake, we still paid for the full rack of ribs. I did have a 10 off coupon inviting us into the eatery, but even with it, the meal cost us over a hundred dollars. We eat out all the time, and it usually runs 60-90.00 without a coupon. So for the price of the food and the food value, with taste and quantity you get, its going to be a pass for us next time we dine out. pictured is suppose to be half rack ribs ,received whole rack 45.00 the shrimp and grits 24.99 and the steak frites 34.99. .

I gave a surprise proposal for my girlfriend here and everything was PERFECT‼️ From the beginning at the planning stage Cam had been very professional, helpful, and informative. He made me, my mom, and mother n law feel like we were at home. The planning process was super easy. Cam went above and beyond to make sure everything would be as it should for such a special day with family and friends. Even after the sit down we had to plan everything he would text me to make sure that I had everything I needed/wanted to ensure that special day would be nothing short of amazing. On the day of the proposal everything went as planned and I could not have done it without Cam and his amazing staff. To the servers that were bringing out the appetizers, entrees, and salads, you are greatly appreciated for your patience and professionalism. Everyone was taken care of and the food was brought out in a timely manner with no complaints. Food was delicious!! I cannot stress enough how we enjoyed such a wonderful evening. If you have anything that will require a good bit of people to be taken care of, SoLou Lafayette is the place to look for. Again, thanks to Cam and his wonderful staff at SoLou me and my family were able to celebrate one of my long term goals. Job well done!

Thank you to Lucas our server and the team, I brought my daughter for the beginning of her 14th Birthday celebration and it was absolutely amazing!! Lucas helped us with picking out the right food and drinks. Everything came out timely and tasted amazing!! 😋 We'll be back!!

Service was awful. Shrimp was not clean. Obvious problems with management. prices way too high for what you get. Unless you are going for drinks only, don't waste your money.

We sat at the bar , nice restaurant, nice atmosphere. Food was amazing. Shrimp corn dogs were sooo good with mustard sauce . Our bartender Logan was great he made the best blueberry mojito , will definitely be back !

Went a few weekends ago and had Ariana as our server. She was so sweet!! Even drew a little pumpkin in syrup to put our cotton candy on.

We made reservations ahead of time for a group, the waitress was kind but extremely slow to order food, receive food and pay the bill. We were in the restaurant for over 2 hours and the restaurant was for the most part empty.
The food was extremely overpriced for the quality. I for one will not be returning.

Salmon was hot. Not cold as it should’ve been.

Me and my mother came for lunch. Our server was great and very attentive. The food on the other hand wasn’t good. My mother had the salmon and I had the chicken and waffles. My mother ended up returning her plate. I ordered the chicken and waffles which were okay. While we were eating there was gnats flying over our food and my silverware was dirty.
