This place shut down. You can't open a Korean restaurant in this non cultured state and expect it to do well. This place would of done pretty well somewhere else. I thought their food was ok enough to satisfy my hunger. . But their 2 person minimum for Kbbq is ridiculous. I'm originally from Dallas,Tx. Traditional Korean food, KBBQ, and KFC ( Korean Fried Chicken) does very well there. There isn't any rule there I can walk into any KBBQ restaurant in TX by myself and enjoy KBBQ by myself . Why? because i'm still a paying customer duh. Even when I live in FL there weren't these 2 person minimum for KBBQ. Suck they shut down. Because it was the closet drive for me to get Korean food. .;..

My husband and I went on a lunch date and ate the Korean BBQ and we really enjoyed it - we plan on going back with the kids because we think they would get a kick out of cooking the meat at the table. The food was delicious (mmm, bbq pork belly)! We got egg rolls as an appetizer and they were some of the best egg rolls we'd ever had. I also enjoyed the sides that came with the all you can eat bbq (potato salad, bean sprout salad, noodles, rice, kimchi). Even though it was all you can eat, there was so much food that we couldn't even finish all of the meat that they initially brought out, so we had no need to get more. I really wish this restaurant would advertise because it was pretty empty for a Saturday lunch and I'm afraid they'll close down if the word doesn't get out. Also, there's a "for lease" sign in front of the building that has definitely got to be deterring business because it makes the place look closed. The ambiance and decor inside is wonderful thanks to a ceiling full of red hued lanterns - it would be a wonderful place to bring a date in the evening. I really hope this place stays open because it's such a hidden gem and it was such a wonderful experience.

This is my favorite Korean restaurant in Lafayette. Great service, the best menu I have ever seen... everything is explained so well! Tasty, tasty fare!

Sunny's is hands down, my favorite restaurant to go to. Their Korean bbq is out of this world delicious, and I never get tired of it. The staff is SUPER friendly and nice, and always take excellent care of us. Food is not badly priced either, and the portions are decently sized. If you want great food, Sunny's Rice & Noodles is the place to go.

Disappointed this they are CLOSED on TUESDAY, but Google says they are opened. We planned to eat here for our anniversary, got childcare, etc. I guess we won't be eating here for a long time.

We can't say enough about our experience with Sunny's and with Doona, the lovely owner. The food and atmosphere are perfect. Our family hosted a luncheon for our daughter's graduation here, and every expectation was exceeded.

This place is never busy when I visit, which is a SHAME, because the food and atmosphere are amazing!! The interior is so different from what you'd expect from the exterior of the building. I've tried things off the Chinese menu, the Korean menu, and have gotten the Korean BBQ before, and you honestly can't go wrong with anything here. I do, however, recommend ordering something off the Korean menu since it comes with the banchan (side dishes), and they're all delightful. The spicy pork and beef bulgogi are my 2 personal favorites. Definitely do the KBBQ if you are in a larger group - there's a wide selection of meats to choose from, and it's just a wholly satisfying experience to watch it sizzle right in front of you before you eat it. If you're looking for something different in Lafayette, this place is perfect for that.

The place was very well decorated and clean. Even the bathroom was very clean. They didn't have any japchae noodles though and that is the main reason why we drove from Lake Charles. The food was okay, bland in my opinion. Service was good though.

Arrived here on a Saturday afternoon but surprisingly it wasn't busy at all. Which sort of worried me, even being that it seems to be the only KBBQ spot in the Lafayette area. We were seated immediately prior to walking in. The seating though is either somewhat tight and cramped or just too roomy that you are sitting away from your friends but I guess it works if there will be more dishes on the table. The food is top notch! We got the Korean ribs and it was perfect along with the bibimbop. The flavors were on point and service was outstanding. I really enjoyed the sides that were provided because at other KKBQ joints there can sides that I dislike but at Sunny's I enjoyed each one so that made me enjoy my meal a little bit more. Additionally gochugang sauce is provided if you need it. At Sunny's they really break it down on the menu to make it easy to choose. I believe there is also an AYCE menu option but for lunch we weren't feeling it. Overall a great place to come for KBBQ which has all of the essentials and is more inviting for novices to the scene.

Idk why this place is underrated! I loved it. It's not the best Korean I've ever had, but it's literally the ONLY Korean restaurant in Lafayette. The decor is cute, and the service was good. I do have to say that when we went there was only one other table there...for Saturday lunch that's not really good for business. Anyways. We ordered the spicy pork bibimbop, delicious ! They give you the gochugang bottle too to add more if you'd like. We also got the la galbi plate, and it was DELICIOUS. Cooked perfectly and lots of flavor. The banchan comes with this as well and the kimchi was good. It also comes with a bowl of rice. I ordered a spicy tofu soup and that was the only thing I wouldn't get again. It wasn't spicy, or really it wasn't the flavor I was looking for. That was the only miss. Overall, I'd go back again!

Food was excellent! (Dolsot bibimbap). Steamed dumplings were perfect. Decor is nice, too.

Not a bad place at all... I actually spent 2 months on South Korea for work and missed the food ever since I left... it's the closest thing around here to authentic Korean food... naturally it couldn't be as good as it was in Korea but it wasn't bad and it can give anyone a good idea of how good Korean bbq is.... also this is one of the only places in the area that sells soju which is great if you've never tried it.. it's a fairly new place but I hope they stick around
