Sushi Masa Lafayette

I ordered edamame, sweet potato roll, cucumber roll and tempura vegetables. Everything was delicious. We’re looking forward to coming back.

Abby, our waitress was the absolute best!! It was our first trip, definitely won’t be the last. The food was sooo good and kept us full. If you go there you won’t be disappointed. There’s something for everyone, even picky eaters like me. I’d 100 percent ask for Abby, and made our trip, our meal, and my birthday!! Thanks again Abby for constantly checking on us throughout the meal even though you had many other tables, you made us feel like your only customers!

Went to Sushi masa for lunch on Saturday with my girls and a friend. Girls ordered AYCE. My friend and I ordered lunch box. Although the food was delicious, we didn’t get our food till the girls had almost finished eating. The waitress didn’t even acknowledge us, as many times as she brought food for the rest of our party of five. I had to ask her if she would check on our order. I never got the soft drink that I ordered when I ordered my food. The waitress apologized and said she would talk to manager about a discount. Manager gave us a $2.50 discount which was the public service discount. Not much of a discount if you ask me. I’ve had better discounts at other places when it’s their mishap. Totally ruined my lunch watching those in my party eat and were just sitting waiting for our food. The point was to have a meal together.

Freddie was AMAZING!!! She is a delight, and recommended new dishes we enjoyed so much. She is a gem to Sushi Masa!!!

I don’t normally have anything bad to say about this restaurant as my wife and I eat here almost once a week. But the service we had tonight was by far the worst I’ve ever had in any restaurant. Our normal server brie was not working tonight so they sat us with a young lady called Ariel. She repeatedly got our orders incorrect, ordered us the wrong things, and at one point actually asked my wife (did I write that down?) like we are supposed to know if she actually took our order down. At one point when she was taking my order I had to repeat myself three or four different times because I noticed she would get distracted by anything going on around her and forget what she was writing down and I would have to repeat it to her just to get her to get my order down and she still got it wrong. She had a condescending tone and was very argumentative every time we said that something was missing, incorrect, etc. overall, she completely ruined the evening with her attitude and incompetence. We look forward to having our regular service in the future.

One of THE BEST Sushi places ever! The food is amazing! The Service is amazing! I have ZERO bad things to say about this place. Never once did I ever have a problem with anything at this restaurant!

I came for lunch and was disappointed that Sashimi was not offered for lunch, only as a more expensive dinner option. The sushi was ok, about equal to grocery store style sushi.
Service was excellent and the restaurant including the bathrooms was very clean.

Went here tonight and ended up leaving. The wait was ridiculous. This is a chain restaurant. There should be no wait. It’s sad that Lafayette only has one AYCE Sushi spot. We now live in HTX and there are quite a few. Also, why are they using humans at this place??? Every other branch we have been to uses robots to serve the guests. This is old school and indicative of Lafayette and its small town lack of innovation. They need to do a lot better. Very disappointed. We went to another sushi spot which didn’t even know what Otoro or chutoro was. People are just not cultured in this place. It’s sad.

Everything was so good! The service was fast and friendly, the music playlist was amazing! But the food was DELICIOUS and surprisingly inexpensive! For 2 people: 2 entree meals, 2 drinks, and 2 sushi rolls was only 75! Will definitely come again whenever I visit
