Dear soul haus …. been eating here since the day it open and the food is amazing … when they have it … constantly running out of food on a consistent basis and this is not right before closing, which is at 2 o’clock in the afternoon …. I used to love the Jambalaya Shoppe in BR so when I found out there was one here in Lafayette I didn’t hesitate to try it out. I ordered the Shoppe Combo which comes with either jambalaya or pastalaya. I went with jambalaya. It also comes with a choice of side (I got red beans), a small salad, gumbo file’ and a roll. I was looking for some traditional flavorful jambalaya! What I got was great and friendly staff, a healthy amount of food but the flavor and seasonings were missing. The restaurant was also very clean!
