The Ruins is a lively spot with karaoke nights and a friendly community atmosphere among locals. The decor is appealing, and service is friendly. Restrooms are kept clean, and there is a nice outdoor area for relaxing and talking without loud music. The place features live music and a dance floor, making it great for dancing on weekends. The beer is cold, and cocktails, including rum punch, are tasty. The outdoor space is big and perfect for socializing. Parking is easy and close by. The manager, Ashley, works hard to ensure a good experience. However, during some nights, the place can get very crowded with young drinkers, and spills on the floor may pose safety hazards. The DJ sometimes plays songs that don’t quite fit, and spills are common, so keeping the floor safe could be improved. Still, many visitors enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and the chance to dance and have fun. Look out for the statue of Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette in the parking lot.
