This has always been one of my favorite options to eat in Lafayette. They have so many wonderful vegan options, which is really hard to find in the area.

Old bingo hall with lukewarm food and a lukewarm menu....2/5, probably a local favorite but that isn't saying much...SSI is the equivalent of your one friend who tries to be a hipster but on the way out at night trips over the door threshold and gets blood all over your new outfit when you didn't really want to invite them anyway...I know you can do better, or at least act like you care

Delicious fresh food. The dishes were light but still full of flavor. We loved both the chicken cordon bleu and the Cajun Cuban. Also the brussel sprouts are fantastic

Eh. Where's the seasoning? I mean, aren't we in southern Louisiana??? I enjoyed the music though.

Overall the dining experience left us wanting. The food was hit or miss. Green chili burrito was great but the shrimp were over cooked in the shrimp and grits and the smoked tuna tar tar was more like shredded tuna jerky.

Farm to table Louisiana food. Most cuisine in Cajun country seems to be deep fried. Not this place. I got the steak on quinoa and greens with chimichurri sauce, which was excellent. My friends got the pork sous vide, thyme chicken, seafood pasta, and tacos. Everyone loved what they got. This is a small house-like restaurant where you feel like you are getting a great home cooked meal straight from the local farms.

I've been eating at Saint street inn so much lately! They have been providing some incredible vegan options and creating new specials every week (like vegan poboy or vegan chicken sandwich). The service is always great too. The atmosphere is relaxing, especially in the breezeway. I've come for date night or for lunch break with my mom or granny. It's definitely my favorite restaurant.

Jolly nice restaurant near the university. Started off with a tasty whiskey sour - well balanced with a frothy head. They make their own pasta so I went with the mushroom pappardelle. They told me I could add a protein so I thought why not? and added grilled chicken breast. It was delicious and too big to finish.
