Excellent options with large windows to watch those passing by or lovely scenery within.

Some friends of mine and I stopped by to have some snacks and drinks at the bar recently. We ordered fries and a flatbread. The bar tender brought out 2 orders of fries and when we said we'd only ordered 1 order his response was that he figured we would want more than just one and he left them both out. We then waited an hour an a half for the flatbread to come out. When it came time for the bill he asked us who wanted both orders of fries and we told him we only ordered one and that were shouldn't be charged for the other. He told us he would have to get his manager to void the order. The manager then came out and told us that if we didn't want the second order then we shouldn't have eaten it. This is when I got angry and told the manager that we told the bar tender we didn't want them and he left them there so we figured they were just lagniappe. I'm sorry, this is not about the $5 fries. This is about the slow, unfriendly service we received from start to finish and the rude manager who chose to scold us rather than apologize for the confusion. Also, the place was dead both in the restaurant and in the bowling alley so there really is no excuse.

The furnishing settings can be a little more polished, but the seafood entrees were great, especially the fish.

Went in for a quick bite after DTA tonight. Sat at the bar, great place to people watch. We ordered fried onions rings for an appetizer. Nice and fluffy, good rings. We also split a cheeseburger. Well prepared, charbroiled. Really tasty. We also we're given a fried green tomato and shrimp remoulade that was really great! The remoulade was fresh and tart, the shrimp we're plump and sweet. The fried green tomato was breaded properly and cooked to perfection, golden and light. We're definitely going to come back.

We went out to eat this past Friday, May 17th and it was an unusually busy Lafayette weekend. The University of Louisiana Lafayette had graduation as well as almost every single high school around. I brought my parents who were in from TN to eat here and the food & the service was "OUTSTANDING" from crawfish Mac n'Brees to Shrimp and Grits, the fresh catch of the day. When I say that EVERYTHING was OUTSTANDING I do mean everything. The hostess, the staff and waiter & waitresses were all on point and attended to every single need with a smile. I truly do HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!!! I will be going back many more times!!! Last but not least do yourself a favor and order more than one desert. We ordered bread pudding and also the "Sticky toffee pudding" and WOW WOW the sticky toffee pudding was heavenly

Food & Service was excellent!!!!!! Shrimp & Grits was “OFF THE CHAIN” and a huge portion. Petite Filet was cooked to perfection at “med” and my son ate his entire plate of chicken strips, which he never does!!!!!! Will definitely be back soon!!!!!!!

Very nice location with good service. I had the Crawfish Cypremort and the Fried Bread Pudding PoBoy. I really loved the grilled fish on the Crawfish Cypremort, but the Crawfish etouffee wasn't amazing. It was good overall but I will try something else. For dessert I had the unique twist on bread pudding. I really liked it but for a dessert with a rum sauce I expected it to be some level of sweet. Not only was there no level of sweetness but there was no noticable rum flavor. It was boring and just wasn't what I expected. A friend had the brisket, although it was covered in gravy, it was dry. Everything looked very good and creative but there were a few missed steps that prevent it from being amazing. It's still early in their life as a restaurant so it could get better with time.

Excellent food! We loved the fresh fish dishes. We also loved the onion rings and fried oysters. Great space and Rock n Bowl is next door. We will be back soon. Great place for a date night or dinner with friends.

Wife and I ate at the Saint Marie this past Saturday night for the first time. The atmosphere is urban eclectic with old movies projected on the wall sans sound and strings of Edison lights strung from crystal chandeliers. Walls decorated with posters, team banners, etc. Not an atmosphere for fine dining but interesting kitsch. My review of the food is a mixed bag. Our waiter seemed young and inexperienced. He brought us a pinot noir when pinot grigio was ordered but the mistake was quickly rectified. More troublesome was the turkey and andouille gumbo appetizer. It was served distinctly lukewarm and only a step above down right cold. It was sent back to the kitchen and returned (presumably after a stop in a microwave) almost simultaneously with our entrees. Not good timing. I had the stewed beef brisket which was delightfully tender and flavorful served over mashed potato and with brussel sprouts. The shrimp and grits were enjoyed and portions were ample. Our meal was topped off with sticky toffee pudding (a favorite from previous trips to Scotland and Ireland). This version was quite good but I think would benefit from a side order of vanilla ice cream. I will give the restaurant another try. I think they still have a few growing pains. I am hoping for more consistency.

Great food in a very welcoming atmosphere. My family and I had a great experience for my parents anniversary. Once we where sat, our server Laken was very attentive and made sure my family was well taken care of. We will be back in the future and definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a wonderful meal and top service!
