The Tap Room

There isn't a rating for alcohol so I am putting the rating under food. Without a doubt this was the worst pour of Guinness I have even been given anywhere I have been around the world. And the sad part is that when I told the bartender that I wasn't drinking these she had no clue and didn't even think anything was wrong with the pours. On top of it all they were so understaffed for the crowd and we had to wait for ever to get drinks and to try and close out our tab, had the service been better we might have stayed for more that 2 rounds.

Good bar food. Beer selection was weak for porters and dark beers. Zero barrel aged. How are you a tap house with zero barrel aged options? Not one KBS even. Nice people and great customers. Nice TVs. Music not too loud so you can enjoy company.

Parking: Great tip shelf bourbon selection. Need to look way up to see them. Taylor was in the house.

My wife and I visited yesterday for a quick bite and some cocktails. The bartender made one of the best Manhattans I've had in Lafayette, and my wife enjoyed one of their signature cocktail, "Don’t Write, Don’t Call." However, we had to wait 40-45 minutes for our Friggin' Fig-n-Pig Flatbread. While it was good for a quick bite, it wasn't anything special. During the wait, we had a second round of drinks—the Manhattan was as consistent as the first, which was nice to see. My wife tried another signature cocktail, "Swampy Daniels," which was less spirit-forward and not to her taste, though others might enjoy it. The bartenders apologized for the delay, likely due to a busy kitchen as the place seemed to be full. Overall, it was a decent experience, and the bartenders were great. We'll definitely return for the drinks.

I road from downtown cool breeze pushing forward on each step with lessons from mother pain staying calm while she works me on dangerous bike lanes, loud uphill traffic for a town automobiles built.

They hosted Matt Moscona's radio show. Beer was great, service was great. The only way the experience could have been better was if they had a live feed of the show thru the speakers.

I had heard a lot about the Tap Room and had high expectations given its location. I suppose that on a Monday evening after 9:00pm isn't a good time to go. The food was sub-par, the service was non-existent; and the our bill was pricey for the not-so-good food that we got. It just wasn't what I was expecting...certainly not up to Lafayette standards...not sure I would choose to go again.

Great drinks and food. Just wished I didn't have to go to work the bar every time I wanted a drink. But you can't beat Wednesday ladies night!!! Bring back the hot dog, please.

This is about the 4th time I have visited and it has been great every time. The Flatbread pizzas are phenomenal!! Happy Hour for Ladies all day on Wednesdays... 1/2 price on everything!! 10/10 recommend! ?
