The best service! The best Hibachi in Lafayette!

I'm in love with this place! I decided to give my daughter's bday party there with 15 TEEN girls and 3 adults. From the beginning to end everything was great. They stayed in touch with me days before by texting just to make sure everything was ok. The day of the event everything was beautiful the staff was nice and very entertaining for those teens lol. They were laughing and having such a great time with the staff. The cooking show was wonderful and fun and when they included some of the girls to catch some of the food with their mouths it brought the party to a new level lol. Her cake was brought in with drums and singing from the staff and a hat for her to wear while everyone was singing Happy Birthday to her! Now I'm considered a " KOOL" mom šŸ˜‚. I would definitely tell everyone to book your bday party of any age with them. I give them all thumbs up!! Thank you guys for a wonderful fun experience. Those teen girls are sharing pictures they took all over social media of their fun time and great experience. They loved it and so did I!

Got a crawfish roll and I ended up not like it. I informed the waitress that I did not like it and the waitress proceeded to argue with me about not liking it. My boyfriend was not a fan of the hibachi either. Really disappointed

You will be shutting down this restaurant for good very soon. You better start listening to your customers. You are losing a ton of them.

I’m officially writing this restaurant off my list for good. We went here for my mom’s birthday. They sat us at the hibachi table. Started taking everyone’s order and when they got to the end. We were forced to order items that we didn’t want to eat. She gets to the end and points to the section of the menu and tells us this is where you have to order. She stated a number of people have to order hibachi. I said that isn’t what we want and she said that is the rules. I told the lady this is lunch time and we are the only customers in the building. You think your rules is keeping people from eating here? I told her you will not keep your doors opened with these rules. She honestly didn’t care. Never ever going back. Lost customers forever.

The service was friendly and courteous. The food was top-notch. There was a little wait before the cook came out, but everything else was point--the food, service, and the atmosphere.

We recently went eat here. My kids, my mom, my fiancƩ and myself. They were under new management and new staff within the past week. While working out the kinks, our server Linda had the absolute BEST personality, patience with my kids and just all around very kind. She apologized when food took a little longer to receive and made us aware of the new switch. The food was absolutely AMAZING! Linda was absolutely AMAZING! We will be back without a doubt!

To Linda, keep being awesome, keep persevering and keep pushing! There aren’t many servers as attentive and sweet as you!

With love, the Bart family!

Me and my family came for hibachi tonight to celebrate my sister birthday, they restaurant were busy and look like they were short staffs.we waited a little longer, but it was worth the wait.good food and hibachi was very entertaining.definitely will come back ,Seeing this scene, the guest felt very disrespectful to us, who were also here to taste the delicious food. The waitress tried her best to explain the guest's dissatisfaction, but the other party did not listen at all and kept making trouble for the waitress. After seeing this, our family felt that she must be very sad.also the last thing I would like to say is :Please go to any restaurant to taste delicious food and don’t forget to serve your waiter with a service-oriented attitude towards every guest. Please also respect her and their hard work.

Amazing First Experience at Tsubaki Sushi & Hibachi by Koi

My husband and I recently visited Tsubaki Sushi & Hibachi by Koi for the first time, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. We began our meal with the Gyoza appetizer, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully flavorful on the inside. For our main courses, we ordered the 911 roll and the Mrs. Koi, both of which were outstanding. The 911 roll had a perfect balance of spice and freshness, while the Mrs. Koi roll was a delightful blend of textures and flavors that left us wanting more. The presentation was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu. Highly recommend!

I was not allowed to dine in and buy 1 plate with my daughter. I was told we each had to buy a plate. Paid for my $3 coke and left. You can’t force anyone to buy what they don’t want to buy. I will never come here again.

I went to eat here. My mom and I always used to order 1 hibachi plate and share it before it switched to ā€œKoi.ā€ We were told we COULD NOT order 1 plate and share and that we either had to order 2 plates or order a plate to share with a $12 surcharge. This is ridiculous! You can’t tell me I have to buy extra. We paid for our drinks (which were $6) and walked out. I’m not going to be forced to buy what I don’t want to buy. Totally ridiculous.

It’s just really sad… don’t go.This restaurant is really sad and depressing. It’s old and run down. The menu is sad, the service is not great. The food was questionably edible. We had some minor tummy issues after eating it.I don’t understand how this place is still open. It’s been years since I went there, I figured I would give them a try again.. yuck! That was a mistake. I feel bad for this place. It’s just sad ?
