Tsubaki is hands down one of our Favorite places to eat as a family!!! From the time you walk in to the time you leave, the service is the best and the servers make your experience fun and welcoming! The food is amazing every single time! My kids love to eat here and anytime we give them a choice, this will be their choice! The hibachi chefs interact with your family the entire time and keep you laughing!!! We love Tsubaki and will recommend over and over again!!

Ordered soba noodles with shrimp and vegetables and I wasn't impressed. I'm not sure if it was an off day or what is normally served but it didn't give Japanese flavor or look. Just an imitation of it. The noodles were stuck together and bland. I added soy sauce to help boost the flavor but it was a lost cause.

I noticed the floors were sticky and the restaurant was practically empty minus a door dasher and a couple celebrating a birthday.

The servers and staff were nice but confused on two orders (the door dasher and mine) before I was able to get my food. For the future, I don't think I would come back given my stomach later was upset by the food. Go figure!

Tsubaki is our go to Family dinner… it’s not just a place to eat.. from the time we walk in, to the time we leave every server, host, chef makes us feel like we are at home! Linda, Yuling and and Carmel are always so much fun and make every single visit a great time! Andy or any of the Chefs that have cooked for us make the experience so much fun and interactive with our family! My kids ask to eat here any time we give them the option! Will always recommend this place!!

Service was okay. A little confused that they added an 18% gratuity without saying anything and we were only a party of 2 and our bill was 60$. ive been a server for years and ive never seen gratuity on a party of 2 people

Went here with a friend and my daughter for the first time in years and I enjoyed everything about my visit. Food and service were excellent and the atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. My server was nice and funny as well.

Tsubaki by Koi is hands-down one of my new favorite spots! Chill vibe, excellent service, and prices way better than other sushi places around. The chef always customizes rolls for our dietary needs—no shellfish for my friend, no starch for me—and nails it every time. And don’t even get me started on the Yellowtail neck… absolutely phenomenal. Definitely a must-try in Lafayette, with something for everyone on the menu! 🌸🍣

First must say Tsubaki Sushi & Hibachi by Koi is great as it was previous times I’ve went. But when I called in for information the girl I spoke to didn’t know anything about her place of business, food, cost or anything. That’s why I gave a 3 star. Above all else the hibachi chef was the absolute best part of the night — fun, and really made the cooking experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, everything else fell a little flat, it took almost 30 minutes just to get our food started even though it wasn’t busy. On top of that, they add a forced gratuity, which didn’t match the level of service for that day, love this place back then. Starting to make it hard for me to return to one of my hometown favorites

Celebrated my 14 year old’s bday here and had a wonderful experience! The staff decorated, sang happy birthday and made his day even more special! The hibachi chef and food were amazing also! Definitely recommend, especially for a birthday!

The food is excellent.
My only beef is that they, obviously, make you pay extra for wasabi, and ginger. What in the heck??? I've never had to do that before. That's quite pathetic. All I got is one packet of soy sauce, which I never use on sushi.
