Delish and original tacos ++ Some very interesting taco flavours, and plenty more great stuff on the menu. Very pleasant people..

I wasn't a fan. Here's why: First, this place was slow! Really slow! There was one or two other tables occupied, and 2 people at the bar only having drinks. Yet it took far too long for our orders to come out. Secondly, the menu is small, which is not terrible. But most things in the menu (of mainly tacos) has a spicy component added into the preparation. Not like a sauce you can just remove, literally seasoned and cooked with it. Maybe it's a shocker to some, but everyone in Louisiana does not like spicy food. Me being one of those people. This meant, the small menu was even smaller for me. Next, the food was just average, with the portions of meat, etc on the tacos being small. The price was roughly $4.00 or more per taco. Server said I should be full with just 3 tacos. I was not. Ended up attending the event I was in Lafayette for, and hitting up a drive thru on the way to the interstate before heading home. Just wasn't worth the time and effort for me. I have then 2 starts because the Server and other staff were friendly, and the place itself was neat, clean, and had a good atmosphere/feel to it.

Excellent food. All the tacos had a special sauce and they even had fancy tater tots. The atmosphere was nice with the lights and looks like at some point they have a projector screen. I'm not sure how nice the outdoor seating would be in the heat of summer but on this autumn night it was perfect.

My husband and I were looking for a quick spot to grab some tacos to go as we were leaving out of Lafayette. After looking at several restaurants' menus and reviews on Google, I picked Tula Tacos + Amigos. The reviews were good and the menu prices looked decent for the quick bite we were looking for. When we arrived, we were in awe of the atmosphere. The lights were dimly lit. There was a bar area, table seating and even an open air, outside area that was connected to the inside. Hard to explain but so neat! The bartender/hostess took our order upon giving us informative insight about the menu. We are pescatarian so we were happy to try the Coconut Shrimp Taco, the Curry Sweet Potato Taco, as well as the Green Chili Mac and Cheese. There's something for everyone on the menu. Our dishes were delicious. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay to dine in and fully enjoy the ambiance. We love the vibes there and plan to return when we visit lafayette again and have more time to dine in.Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian options such as the Curry Sweet Potato Taco.Dietary restrictions: There are pescatarian and vegetarian options.

Great food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, it took about two hours for our couple of drinks and food order to arrive. They seem short-staffed. Layla was so kind and accommodating, however. Ask for her when you go!

I ate all of my food too fast to take a photo but trust me it was delicious. Fantastic happy hour, quick service, and super cute back patio and ambience with nice music. Definitely will be coming back!

This was the first time my husband and I ever ate here. It was "give back night" and a percentage of the proceeds would go towards pride. Thank you for doing this ❤️On a different note, the place is like a TARDIS. You think it's small from the outside but it's huge and really nice in the inside. The food is delicious and comes super fast! The tacos are individually priced but by the time you pick all the ones you want, your plate is full and you're stuffed. My only regret is that it's taken us this long to eat here.

I would give a half star if possible!! I walked in. Greeted by a nice woman. Sat at the bar. Bartender greeted me and that was the end of what he did. I sat and waited.... Not one time did he ask if I would like something to drink or a menu. He served the people on either side of me and ect....but never asked if I needed anything. Im not hard to please but his service was crappy!!! I am not impressed on my first visit!!!!

I would have to say that I did not enjoy their tacos. They had a very strange taste to them, both of the chicken tacos I ate did. A kind of pineapple flavor, and they also only have coconut rice with no option to sub for regular rice. It was reasonably priced considering I paid $46 for 3 tacos, rice, beans, and a couple drinks. The staff was extremely nice, the food just wasn't good.
