Walked in and was greeted to a nice lady named Amanda, she took me and my friends order while having a friendly conversation. The part that stunned me was she offered to pay the remaining change I needed to get me another half waffle. She was super kind and the food was amazing as always. Love seeing the place thriving.

I went this morning cause it was close to my work. I got the chicken biscuit, the waffle bites, and a mocha.
Good part: the chicken biscuit. It was delicious and the hot honey was really good. I enjoyed that, BUT...
Bad part: I was under the impression that the waffle bites were like cinnamon coated pretzel bites or similar to a fluffy waffle bites. What I got was basically a very crunchy and almost burnt funnel cake. It was ok at best and sickening at worst.
Also the mocha I order was going to be a pick me up for the day. I don't drink coffee to often and mocha is my go-to. I tasted it and thought it tasted pretty awful, so I poured out my $5 drink. COME TO FIND OUT THEY JUST DIDNT STIR THE DRINK! I WAS DRINKING A HOT OAT LATTE WITH MILD ESSPRESSO FLAVOR! This genuinely upset my day.
The staff was nice, but if you go here make sure you talk to the staff about what everything is and that you check your food to make sure it's right.

Very hit or miss. Really wanna leave a better review because when it’s good it’s great, but lately every time I go the waffle itself is soggy, cold, & flimsy which completely ruins the sandwich. Every time this has happened it's been when I've gone for dinner around 7 pm. I thought at first maybe this is just how they're served, but I've asked friends who've eaten here a lot usually around lunch & they said that they're normally crispy. If I had to guess I’d say they’re probably just using all the leftover waffles from their lunch rush resulting in anyone going for dinner getting a far worse product for the same price as someone going in and getting a fresh product for lunch. As others have said the portion sizes are a bit small for the price, but tbh I’d be perfectly okay with that if the quality was more consistent. As it stands I cannot recommend this restaurant even though I really want to as I stated in the beginning when it’s good it’s great. I’d understand if I was coming in 10-15 minutes before close, but 2 hours before close I should still expect to get the same quality product as anyone else would be. Leaving this review in hopes that something quality control changes are made. Service and everything else is fine. All the employees are nice and the atmosphere overall has a nice casual vibe.

I’ve never been a big fan of waffles but after seeing a segment about this restaurant on a local news station it peaked my interest. It took me several months to try it but oh my!!! I love this place. The food is sooo good. I love the different flavor profiles. The waffle fries rival that other over rated chicken place. I love that they do half sizes which is perfect for us ladies. The service is always quick and staff friendly. A big shout out to the owner, management and staff from one QSR owner to another. You’ve won a new loyal customer!!

I remember when VivaLaWaffle was just a food truck! Im so happy they got their own restaurant now and they are killing it! Every time I go the staff is always kind and they never got any of my orders wrong but they always come out fast! Great local spot for first dates, cheap dining out, a quick lunch or an early morning breakfast.

First time here. Service was amazing. The chicken is well cooked and seasoned. The waffle could be crisper. The Roceaux comes with blue cheese slaw but this slaw tastes better on the hot hot. The hot syrup sauce is is perfect. Each item is tasty without sauce which is a great sign. Fries were delicious. All items were the temperature they were supposed to be. I am hooked! I visited twice in one week.

This is a guess but I assume the sandwich was ready and sitting in the bag while the fries were being done so it sat in its own steam and softened. Bad timing happens but there was no communication or even apology for the situation. Just handed me the bag and closed the window. The food has been good in the past so this was a surprise. If you go here, dine inside otherwise you may have a situation like mine.
Honestly when this place opened it was so good, but recently it seems like they’re taking short cuts or something. The breading on the 3-piece combo was flavorless and too dry and sauce was sour. The garlic fries overdone. The quality has definitely deteriorated. Sucks this used to be the spot
