My husband and I were traveling from Houston to New Olreans to celebrate our 19th Anniversary. This was about our halfway point so we hopped off to grab some food. Mrs. Diane was our server and she was the most soft spoken, attentive, genuine server I have ever encountered in my entire life. She was just a pure blessing with a gentle demeanor and you just don't see that much anymore. I do want to point our that several other staff members also spoke, greeted us, and asked if we needed anything. Over all, the service alone was more than a 5 stars could do it justice. It was top notch. The food was fresh, hot, and made to order. Mrs. Diane thought of everything from jelly, to syrup, to butter, even offering dessert when we finished. She was just so pure that I had to do a review. Thank you Mrs. Diane and the rest of Waffle House staff as well.

This is one of the cleaner waffle house establishments I have gone to. The service was good. There was one waitress that was not the warmest but the one that actually served us was very friendly. And the food is what you expect from Waffle House they are one of the few places that is consistent across the board and where can you find a perfect pecan waffle outside of them?

Yall should teach the others to cook ,properly, grits. These are the best. Jessi is our waitress. Very nice.
... it's waffle house.... Even when slow tables are dirty when you enter and everything is sticky, it's expected..... Though waitresses are great. Fast at taking orders and always pleasant. Food is always good any time of day.
If you want a good dose of breakfast, this is the place to be. Very good food for the price for sure. The only thing is that if it's crowded, you'll have to wait a few mins b4 you get seated. That's why the best time to go IMO when it's not so crowded would be around 11:00am after the early birds get their tummy's filled lol.Parking: So the location of this place is on the South Side of Lafayette off Johnson St. on the left heading towards Maurice.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. No problems.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm in a wheelchair myself so I can illiterate.All wheelchair accessible with 0 problems.
