I was ordering my food when a gentleman slapped my arm down. I didn't do anything to this person. But the 2 workers took offense to his actions towards me. They handled in a very professional way. I thanked them and sat down to have my dinner.

I have to only give 1 star I've been there 5 times now out of 5 times they've gotten my order right 0 times horrible average Especially If you're at the drive-through window Is much better if you go inside It's like playing the lottery you're lucky if anything's right in the bag it's getting much better as an update, but you still gotta check your stuff.

This is my favorite place to buy a burger, when I'm in Lafayette! Perfect amount of veggies in the burger! I wish they had a Whataburger, like this location, in New Iberia.

I went there the past two Saturdays and realized something was quirky with their prices posted versus what the cash register rings up.
I ordered a #1 Whataburger which is clearly posted on the menu board for $8.89 and also on their online app.
The attendant rang me up and it was substantially higher.
I said I wanted the meal at the #1 price that's posted and was told the menu board is wrong and I have to pay the new price which is close to $11.00 with tax.
It seems like management could take a few minutes to update the menu board in the store, the drive through window, and the app. I guess most people pay electronically and never notice how often they are being overcharged at restaurants.
I decided to go somewhere else where you can purchase food at the posted prices.
Tip: if you go to Burger King or McDonalds they will automatically upcharge you for a larger drink and fries unless you specifically tell them not to.
Great food, they have been around a long time. Visit and taste the difference from others

I recently tried the Beef Jalapeño Deluxe at Whataburger, and while it was decent, my husband ordered the Spicy Chicken Burger, which was definitely the winner. I wish I had gotten that instead! Honestly, any of their chicken dishes seem to be a solid choice. The food overall is great for the price, and I’d highly recommend going for the chicken options if you visit.
