We walked in without a reservation, so we were seated at the bar. It turned out to be great because they had a phenomenal singer named Layla Laverne who sang everything under the sun and was amazing at every song she belted out! Aubree was the bartender and while she was busy, she still found time to come chat and show us hodpitality. Food was amazing as well as the atmosphere!
Excellent dining experience. Food 10 out of 10 and Tyler (bartender/server)was amazing very knowledgeable and offered great suggestions on what to order. Ambiance was great small jazz band playing in a relaxing clean environment. Lafayette was in dire need of a place like this. First time but definitely will not be the last. It takes great effort to offer a such a pleasant dining experience and to that I am much appreciative.
Brunch menu was not very good. Maybe regular menu is better based on other reviews.
Very knowledgeable staff! Atmosphere is perfect for groups looking for a fun night out or a date night. Have yet to have a dish here that wasn't excellent.
Went there for Sunday brunch. Great music and great food!! Service started good but quickly stalled out. Waited on refills, waited on check, just waited on everything
More attentive wait staff needed.
Very nice
Great dining experience here, came for dinner on a Thursday evening, live music was playing and the ambience is dimly lit but charming. -Side note the music is a little loud even though we sat on the opposite side of the stage.
I got the smoked duck, it was cooked perfectly and had an amazing sweet glaze! The Ponchatoula salad was very tasty and unique! Good prices on the food. Service was great
I work here so may be biased but W&V is a great restaurant with the best ambience. Everyone that comes in loves it! Beautiful interior and great craft cocktails and food.
Cool place to eat. Food was good. Drinks were good. We were heading to a concert at the cajun dome. Would recommend this place for sure
What a disappointment!!! Service was slow and we never got one item we ordered. When the food arrived it was lacking taste and it was room temperature. We had been there before for an event and dinner and it was great!! Sunday brunch is a waste of time and $$$$$.

I love eating here. I will often come alone and sit at the bar, and get great service plus friendly banter. Special thanks to Luke and Tyler!
Seafood Tartare is the best thing on the menu!
Atmosphere is wonderful, very dark and moody. Abi Claire was wonderful to listen to live. I would go back for the atmosphere and drinks but not so much for the food. The Old Fashioned was delicious and the bartender was very nice and attentive. The crab cakes were dry, chewy, bland and had a lot of raw onions mixed in. The jazzy shrimp was nothing to write home about, a little over cooked and crunchy. And the jacked up flat bread was good but way too much pepper jelly, I had to scrape a lot of it off with a knife. Would order again and ask for pepper jelly on the side for dipping. Overall, not a bad experience just not what I was expecting.
Had a few drinks and only tried crab cakes. I thought they were tasty; my boyfriend thought it needed seasoning. I'd definitely have it again though.
Restaurant itself is beautiful and service was great. Wonderful plans for a date!
