We went here for gator bites after a disappointing afternoon pontoon boat bayou tour. Our visit to Boutte's turned the day around! We had gator bites, boudin eggrolls that were really good (but I still couldn't tell you what's in them), and some fish and shrimp tacos, chicken strips, and fries. It was all really good (our 13 year old liked the gator bites), but the fish tacos were the best fish tacos I've ever had.
It's a really neat little place, the staff we talked to (the cook/chef and server, who I presume to be the proprietors) were really nice, and the food was great. My son asked if we could go back there, which we would have done if we hadn't been almost 100 miles away at that time!

Stopped in between fishing and a swamp tour. Brett is an amazing chef and person. The food is great and the atmosphere is everything you could hope for while dining on the water.
The food was good, but it was the rest of the whole experience that made it a really outstanding stop!
