im the daughter of the family owner and i would like to say that pho bayou is a recommended place to eat because it has the best food.
Pho is great ! Grilled pork spring roll is always so fresh
Small place with food with huge flavor!! Fresh, cooked to order, food. Wonderful and friendly family owned operation. I had a noodle bowl, my brother had Banh Mai and my sister-in-law had the grilled shrimp soup. Every did was excellent!! I highly recommend.😊

Based on customer reviews, Pho Bayou Restaurant/Milk Tea | Vietnamese is a hidden little restaurant in Lafitte, Louisiana with exceptional food. The owner is a very nice guy with a great personality who really appreciated his customers. The food was pretty good, with good size portions and quality. Dishes like Pho, Shrimp PoBoy, Honey Glazed Chicken, Spring Rolls, and Grilled Pork Banh Mi were flavorful and delicious. The Pho broth was clean and made very well. However, service is slow, as there were only 2 people working. One customer noted being charged for a Combination Pho but only receiving steak and brisket, with the staff forgetting the meatballs and not having tendon or tripe unless requested. The large Pho did not have that much rice noodles, feeling like more broth than bigger portions. The staff are friendly, and the parking lot is super small.
