It's not a typical restaurant, little bit rusty looking, more casual and off the gridView is absolutely beautifulFood was really fresh and well seasonedPo-boy sandwich was filled with lots of shrimps and bread was littly toasted ,surf and turf combo plate was great as well!

Authentic Louisiana Restaurant which takes you to another place. The service had a downhome feel in a relaxed atmosphere. Food was excellent.
We went to a trip to New Orleans. We went to do a tour and found this place to eat it was amazing .

My husband and I are SO happy we stopped here for a bite after our swamp tour. Brett took such good care of us and whipped up some of the best food we’ve had in Louisiana! Great convo, great food, great guy! A must stop!

Food was good. Got the fried fish and shrimp platter. They can also sauté the shrimp, so you don't have to get fried if you don't want to. The burger was good, but they were out of lettuce, tomatoes, onion rings, etc. The place is really cool with a good ambience, but the service was really slow and kept forgetting things. Charged $3 for a bottle of water so make sure to ask for tap water. If the service was less spotty, it would've made the experience a lot better. Probably wouldn't go again, but most likely good for takeout.

Loved that this little restaurant was out in the middle of no where and on a barge. The poor chef was the only one working because his other worker wasn’t able to come in. The food was good but most of what we got was all fried and you get a lot of food. The gumbo was really good and so was the shrimp poboy. I just wish everything wasn’t fried and more sautéed. The chef was very friendly and apologetic about the slower service but we were in no hurry.
