Great date not spot located in the heart of Lake Charles downtown division. Great for comfort food with the portions. Never to disappoint. Staff is very knowledgeable. If you get stuck on any menu items. Management was very attentive and showed interest in your enjoyment.

We eat here every time we visit Lake Charles. It is our favorite restaurant in the area. My Italian BF orders Aldovina’s short ribs every time because he says it is the best he’s ever had! I try something different each visit. This time I had the Diavlo’s shrimp and crawfish pasta. The sauce was amazing and spicy! The food and service is always great here. Tonight there was a little hiccup, we received our salads and bread after the meal was brought to the table. Sent the salads back since we wanted them before the main course. After finishing our meal, the waitress asked if we would like a dessert to make up for the mixup with our salads. Of course we chose the crème brûlée. It was delicious, but we were surprised to see it on our ticket. Never would’ve ordered a $16 crème brûlée, thought this was being offered to make up for the kitchen mishap. Regardless, we highly recommend this place and we will definitely return when we visit Lake Charles again!

121 Artisan Bistro is totally worth the hype in Lake Charles. The atmosphere is cozy, but the food is next level! Their specialty pizza is fire, and the pasta is legit. Do not skip the amazing drinks and happy hour specials. Great quality and chill vibe you will not regret going.

Made reservations for my wife’s birthday. The entree items on the menu seemed to be primarily pasta and pizza and sandwiches with only one steak option and minimal seafood options. The host was slow to seat us. He appeared to have issues with the computer. Our waitress was condescending. Food was ok. My wife had the salmon and I had a hamburger. My water glass was empty and I started looking to refill it myself when the waitress finally came back. Overall, reminded me of Chili’s.

Food is consistently great, but tonight’s service from Kylie put it over the top. It was a tough Monday, but her sweet smile and bubbly attitude made our day so much better! Thank you Kylie and good luck with your statistics class!!

Terrible service, terrible management, terrible food. This restaurant seems high class from the outside, but on the inside the decor is trashy and the food is disgusting.

I ordered online for a pick up. I get there 30 minutes later at the pickup time and the ticket is still at front desk. It never got back to cooks.
Still waiting for my order.

121 used to be my favorite restaurant in the Lake Area. I got the spinach and artichoke dip to go that was my absolute favorite for years. The portion size was cut in half and the price was outrageous. Highway robbery. $20 for a scoop of dip and a few strips of overcooked flatbread (“focaccia”). I don’t believe I will be spending any more money here. Save your time, money, and tastebuds by going to Macfarlane’s instead. Disappointing at best.
