I just bought a dozen tamales and the elderly man was not pleasant. He was rude. He threw my tamales in a plastic bag and when I grabbed it, it was so hot I almost dropped it. He literally put the tamales in a plastic bag and not in a cardboard or a paper plate. Just...
After the storms I didn't expect this place to survive but it did and I'm glad. The tamales were the same taste, could use a little more meat in them though, but still good. The tamale Supreme is very good, a stomach full.
Tamales taste good, but they are not the tipical mexican tamales. If you are looking for the real thing don't waste your time, unless you want to try a tamale with chili cheese, jalapeno and sour cream then go for it.
