This is the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life and I’m heartbroken it’s not open right now. It’s like your auntie made it and the service is always quick and fun. I miss them.

The chicken here was just the way I like it crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside goes great with a roll and two of their delicious sides.

Love food but, I have called in 15-20 minutes that they stated would be ready and it wasn't fixed yet, I left my home 5 minutes, arriving at due time. My order was not ready nor started each times, so a I had another 15-20 minute wait in my car. I will state again I Love the food but, I refuse the delays of my time, when I have called in 15-20 minutes before time for pick-up order.

I could eat here 3x's a week and not get tired of it. Always friendly, food is always on point, and everything on the menu is good, literally!!!

Amazing is not even close. Just found out new favorite while visiting the area. If you like spicy chicken this place is the best. Boudin ball where best ever. Local treasure.

Ball's is something every Lake Charles resident should know about. The chicken is much better than Popeye's Spicy. It is made for the Louisiana palate. The sides are really good: potato salad, red beans, fried okra. My favorite is the potato salad, it's what you expect when you go to grandma's. Customer service is casual, friendly. They responded well to COVID-19 and seemed to really care about safety - but in my experience Ball's is mostly a takeout place anyway. Best chicken in town.

This was my first time man it was amazing normally a 3 piece dinner doesn't fill me up but this one filled me up the chicken was amazing. Go you won't regret it worth the wait and good value

The best fried chicken in the Lake Charles area. HANDS. DOWN. I have eaten a lot of fried chicken in many different places and this is at the top of the list. Fresh, crispy, spicy, and the sides are top tier. Mr. Ball is always so pleasant to speak with. I 100% recommend if you want the best fried chicken around and amazing soul food.
