The brisket and toast, yummy! Today was the Pork Steak special and let me tell you, inedible. Tough, dry and lacking flavor. You can’t just smother it in sauce to make it taste good. I guess I’m biased on pork steak but this is what I get for trying. Stick to brisket and chicken.

I really don't see how this place charges so much for low quality food. I had ribs, sausage, pork steak. Plus sides was awful too.Never again. But that just my opinion...maybe was a bad day. Service was good for drive thru

On the night of 10.26.24, I tried this place for the first time with my boyfriend's review.
I ordered the sausage and the brisket. The brisket was not seasoned, and it was cut a little too thick to my liking.
The sausage was great. It had just come out of the smoker...and wasn't cold like most places serve it.
The side of beans, rice dressing, and peach cobbler was very good!

Ordered the 2 meat special. Ribs were okay, brisket was dry and tasteless, green beans tasted like they just came out the can, and the rice dressing was bland with big chunks of onion. What a waste of money. Won't be going back there!!

This food was barely eatible. And I was hungry hungry. Bbq sauce was as runny as my tea. It would take a life or death situation for me to eat this stuff again if it was free. I gave the food 2 stars because I could still swallow it. That's being as honest as I can without trying to say anything too hurtful, but still wanting to be truthful enough to warn anyone who is looking for bbq.

Wife and I wanted some BBQ and was in lake Charles so we stopped by. Wife ordered the 2 meat with sausage and brisket and I ordered the 3 meat with sausage, brisket and ribs. We both found the sausage casing tough. The ribs were not good at all, had to cut the meat off. We both agreed the brisket was tendered.Was not worth the $38

What is there to say but everything is AMAZING! The staff! The beans! The pork rib! The evening crew is super nice! You feel like you have known these folks all your life! Will definitely be bringing my family to eat here!!

4th time coming here. All 3 times were great. Don’t know what happen on the 4th. Order the same thing the last 3 times. Whole rack of ribs. This time got the food and was eating it. The ribs were tough. Literally had to bite the ribs and pull with force just to get the meat stuck on my teeth. Last 3 times ribs were falling off the bones. Don’t know what happen. Even my brother tried a piece from my plate and said the same thing, tough. Maybe was just an older rack of ribs.
