I’ve been on the hunt for great Italian food in SW LA. I found it. Bodega Wine Bar & Restaurant. Amazing vibe. Great bars, they have two. Pick one. Table seating. And my favorite? Slouchy, comfy settle in and spend the evening couches and chairs. Solid drinks and wine list, by the glass or bottle. Their wine store is next door. It only gets better. Attentive and knowledgeable servers made me feel right at home. These are the best lamb pops I’ve ever put in my mouth. Grilled to perfection with a hint of rosemary. Pasta is mix and match, I chose Alfredo which had a hint with nutmeg as it should and that took it over the top. And dessert? Pistachio cannoli. Perfection on a plate. To ice this cake, they also have music from time to time. Thanks for a wonderful evening, y’all. A hat tip to Ellie and John. I will return. A solid 5 ⭐️’s across the board. Try it, you’ll see.

Calvin our server was absolutely amazing! The sommelier come by and recommended great wine for us. You Have to try the tiramisou made it house paired with their tequila based espresso martini! Best thing from the whole night! Lastly Joana the manager came by and introduced herself to us and it was just the cherry on top of the whole experience!
