Cancun Mexican Restaurant

Food was salty and tasted like it was reheated.Salsa looks and tastes like it came out of a can of crushed tomatoes ,Chips were stale.Youre better off eating at Taco bell,It Seems more authentic than this place.My brother got diarrhea after eating here.

This place is due for a make over. Food quality is okay with reasonable prices compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. Good thing is it’s not too busy so you can always get a seat with no wait!

nothing but unprofessional it was 40$ for 2 orders of chips and side of Queso lady at desk wouldn’t tell me how much 1 order cost even pointed it out to her on the menu to show it was over charged and told me I don’t have to eat there she was literally flipping the bags with the cup Queso upside down! As well as the chips with the salsa told her I didn’t want still Proceeded to put them in the bag with the chips And flip all of them upside down! i paid for my food and asked for a Receipt and she told me they were short on paper I said well I will take a written one and she printed me out a receipt and rolled her eyes at me because I asked for a receipt I really have spoken highly of this place this used to be my favorite restaurant in Lake Charles has this place went down and gotten money hungry sad to say we will not be stepping foot in here again

This place does not deserve 1 star. I called and asked did they sell beef tamales. They said yes. Once I arrived I asked again did they sell beef tamales. They said yes. I placed my order totaling $37, for 9 “beef tamales”, chili, cheese, and sour cream. Once I arrived back at work. I open the bag and this is what’s inside. “See pick below”. The tamales were not cooked fully. The beef was clearly not inside the tamales. I was so disappointed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE IT YOU WANT BEEF TAMALES. The restaurant is really old and has an odor too.

To start out bar area looks closed and dark like a storage. A/C only works in certain parts of the restaurant. Fan are available. Fish was dry and tasted old. The rice was ok. Vegetables taste old and pre cut from previous day. Salas has no taste. It taste like ketchup. One one condiment is available to season your fish or dishes. Lime is only available, no lemon. Out of many different kind of beer. Only miller and bud light available. Service was really bad for only like 6 customers total in 3 tables. Restroom are bad every thing is held up with duck tape. Hole in the ceiling like someone is watching you use the restroom.

1st time my wife ate there in yrs. The food was delicious and service excellent.

My problem is that they advertised delivery and I called to place an order and was told no deliveries today. I am extremely disappointed! I can’t drive and was really looking forward to having the Faquita Taco Salad today!!!! In house everything is always 100 percent, but please don’t advise for a week then refuse delivery. You advised free delivery but I would even pay for delivery. I use Door Dash alot. I don’t care for the Mexican food Door Dash has available. So no Mexican lunch for me.

My favorite restaurant in Lake Charles!

I have gone here for about 25 years now. It has the same workers the same lovely vibe it always has but the food this time was not edible. It was super salty and the portion of meat on the nachos Cancun was not near what it used to be.

Picked up the Cancun nachos and Mexican pizza and it was ? them nachos was loaded Ofcourse it wasn’t as fresh as dining in but I had zero complaints and that pizza was so thick I couldn’t finish either one. Salsas both green and red were on point !!!! Definitely recommend I will dine in next time.
