The food was ok. The chicken fried steak was smaller than the egg. Very disappointed in the size of the chicken fried steak.

Anytime we are in lake Charles at the Golden Nugget we eat here . But last Monday we decided to go at 3:30 and beat the crowd , an early dinner. There were only 3 tables taken. The restaurant was empty . We sat for 15 minutes waiting to be served. The one waiter kept passing us and taking care of the table next to us . The other waiter kept looking our way but was talking to the customer at the table he was serving. They both ignored us . So after 15 minutes of them passing us up we decided to go to Salt Grass and was served immediately. Too bad we really liked this restaurant and always ate there it used to be our go to number one choice . After this past experience I’m not so sure

Was excited about trying this place. But was disappointed. Food was average. Service was slow. Waiter brought my ticket, but took forever to come get it. I had to ask for him to come get it so I could check out. And they were not busy. More tables open than in use.

ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 3 SLICES of pepperoni pizza, & an order of buffalo wings. order came out to $125, i wasn’t thinking straight at all due to a situation before this so i handed her my card & let her charge me. at the restaurant that i work at when a customer orders a large portion of an item i always double if not triple check with the customer to make sure it’s correct. my brother was right beside me when i ordered “3 slices of pepperoni pizza” but miss relaina who was the cashier that took my order, argued that i “didn’t say anything about slices” i can see why this “restaurant” is rated 3 stars. teach employees to double check with the customer what their order is. also, there’s no where on the receipt that says “final sale” or “no refund”

They gave me 11 mini wings for 20 dollars and tried to charge us 17 teen dollars fa a burger ??♂️.

1/5 stars for food. 2/5 stars because at least their mimosas eased my suffering a little. Do not come with any expectations of good food. Pretend the worst cook you know opened their own restaurant in the Golden Nugget and you came to support. Order the chopped sirloin steak on the menu and pass you a hockey puck of ground beef. They are trying their best... And the salmon. You better not have any heart conditions because the hard, salt crust will absolutely raise your blood pressure.

Order took forever to get to me. I had ordered burger and fries. Took a good half hour then my burger wasn't as I had ordered and had to remove pickles. Waitress never brought refills.
