Awesome all the way around. Waitress was very sweet. The food was delicious, some of it was the best we ever had. The Irish Mule was spot on. We had some business to do in Lake Charles and just pulled this place up. We will definitely go back again. Keep up the good work.

We had a birthday celebration and a party of 13. They were so slow getting our drink order, two in our party left because the service was so slow and she had a 4 yo.Not only were our orders messed up but the food was not acceptable. Cold, overall the food was cold, the sauce on the loaded potatoes was broken and the meat was over cooked. We had asked for unsweetened tea and were served sugared tea. Later we were told they didn’t have unsweetened tea.One in our party that had sweet tea is insulin resistant, therefore, does not eat sugar.Not impressed at all.

First time at Cousins and had a great experience. Our waitress was very pleasant and service was great. I had the chicken kebab with hummus. The food was delicious! We also had bacon wrapped dates as an appetizer and were better than any I’ve ever had. They had some sort of meat (andouille sausage I think) stuffed as well. The atmosphere is also quite nice and unexpected from what you see on the outside. I’ll definitely be back.

I tried this restaurant during Chuck Eats restaurant week with a to go meal. We had hummus, gumbo, sampler, tuna, chocolate cake and baklava. The hostess/take out person was Annie and she was almost my favorite part of it wasn’t for the baklava. Annie made several suggestions on the phone for my choices and cooking preferences. I arrived early to pick up my order. And she made the wait so enjoyable discussing food and local restaurant choices. On to the food.Appetizers: Hummus and pita very good. Obviously in house prepared. Gumbo chicken and sausage. Flavor very good comes with rice and potato salad. I’m a picky potato salad person. This was was on the sweet side, with mustard and chunky. I liked it. But I always want potato salad details. Bacon wrapped dates (not on restaurant week) but they were amazing!EntreeTuna: delicious large portion I liked the terikaki sauce. Rice was so good. Grilled shrimp were a good size and very nice flavor. Sampler plate (only for restaurant week) steak and chicken very good with rice and fried shrimp. Lamp lollipops best cooked lamb I’ve had in a while.Dessert: get the Baklava! It was amazing!!! And the chocolate cakes was my kid’s favorite.I will be back.

Great Hummus, great fried shrimp, great service & etc.2nd trip last night: fried shrimp over pita bread with parmasen cheese was AWESOME!! Tuna steak was cooked perfect too. Boudin balls were huge and cooked perfectly!
