“tried Eavy's Incredible Edibles today. I saw this place mentioned on a Facebook post about oxtails so I was completely unaware that sweets are their speciality. I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened my plate and the first thing I saw were these beautiful teacakes. They remind me of the ones my grandmother used to make. Soft with just the right level of sweetness and a hint of vanilla. They oxtails are the most tender I've ever had. Like literally fall off the bone and are very well seasoned. The sides are just as good. I'm not usually a greens person, probably because I can't cook them lol, but these are delicious, tender with a smokey flavor. I've been in Lake Charles for a couple years now and I'm still finding new hidden gems. Lake Charles has so many great food options that no one seems to be talking about. I will definitely be adding Eavy's to my rotation.“
