We usually pick up the plate lunches here and they are always so good. The helping is a generous size and the food is not too spicy, but is well seasoned. The line forms early, though, so go before you are hungry....or be prepared to wait for a bit. There are lots of other items to purchase as well. We love the stuffed chickens, especially the crawfish stuffed one.

We came to Louisiana to enjoy Mardi Gras. I dont do cajun but we wanted to eat some of the local food. I got the steak and gravy served with mash potatoes. Sides included corn and banana pudding. I love banana pudding it was incredible. My husband got the crawfish boudin and the po boy. We loved there food. Will say if you want to enjoy some great food these is the place.

When you walk in and smell the aromas you know you are at the right restaurant. Well, it's more like a deli / market. Very few placwesa to sit. But the food is great.

We eat lunch there every time we’re in town. Every time we leave with filled bellies & huge smiles. The place packs during lunch and the line moves quickly so when you approach the counter be ready to call out your order ? The day we were there one of the lunch special choices was shrimp etiquette. We had that with corn,the best lima beans I’ve ever eaten and cornbread muffins. Sprinkled with their Cajun seasoning Mmmm-Mmmm Never had anything but a great meal there.

My daughter and I loved this counter service homestyle cooking restaurant. There are a few tables inside and some picnic benches outside. Lots of parking. Today there were two main lunch choices plus sausage po boys. Sausage was excellent. Spices were perfect.
