I AM BLOWN AWAY. THIS PLACE HAS EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE, BEAUTIFUL atmosphere. Feels like we were back in a Yosemite lodge. Woodsey chic. Pricey, yes, but worth it. A huge advantage over Ruth's chris in Lafayette by a long shot. Our server, a man from Jennings, amazing service.
The old fashioned was perfect and i asked for margino cherries and he added them 😀
THE CRAB CAKE, LAMB LOLLYPOPS, CHOCOLATE molten cake, foigras was top notch! The bread basket and butter, unreal. (I am not a huge foodie or an obese piggy, no offense, just can't fimd anything but over seasoned cajun food in lafayette)
Big, beautiful fireplace . We decided that we would make the drive just for dinner from Breaux Bridge! When living in so California wed drive to Los Angeles for a good meal frim the valley..so 1.5 hr drive for goos food like this, definitely...

This place is phenomenal! I’ve been coming to the Labeurge for years now and I’ve always overlooked this restaurant. We decided to finally come and man is it off the wall.

Service: Server was super nice, was very helpful in ordering our food. When they served our entrees they had the chefs personally come out and describe the food and how it was prepared. Very elegant like. And whoever said in another review that they experienced discrimination as a minority… sorry that happened… but as a minority myself there was ZERO discrimination. Only excellent and quality service. Also zero wait after booking a reservation.

Starter: We got the shrimp cocktail and it had very good sized shrimp with a rich and crisp flavor. Nothing crazy but tasty.

Entrees: I got the $115 14 Oz Ribeye Wagyu and it was delicious. The tenderness and flaky seasoning pair great. Crust was perfect. 10/10. Garlic mashed potatoes were also creamy and top notch.

Wife got the $65 12 oz New York strip and it was fantastic. Tasty and tender for a New York strip. Her truffle mac and cheese was also delicious. The truffle paired with the mac was great. Sides were massive as well!

Everything was amazing. Just so you know, the dishes are super big. I was sharing with my husband and we couldn’t finish them, not even room for dessert. Also you need reservations but you can always enjoy the food at the bar lime we did.

Awesome place for a date night

We had a reservation and were seated immediately. As always, the food was excellent, with perfectly cooked steaks. The entire staff was attentive, ensuring a great dining experience. Nicole, our waitress, was fantastic—she provided great recommendations and even brought a wine sample to help me decide, without me having to ask. The only suggestion I have is to refresh the restaurant's atmosphere to match the high quality of the food and service.

Ember was fantastic. The environment was definitely fine dining, but also comfortable and welcoming. The staff were beyond fantastic. Again, formal and professional, but still warm and friendly. On to the food, we couldn’t have asked for better. The temperature, flavors, presentation, everything was perfect. We got a small dessert to top it off, with the homemade ice cream being spot on. We can’t thank them enough for a perfect experience!

Absolutely our favorite restaurant in the area. We've gone 3x times with one more trip planned before we move. The filet is the best steak I've ever had it is cooked to perfection, slices like butter and is so well seasoned. We usually split a side because of how filling the steak is (plus the table bread) but their Mac is amazing, it's smokey and so cheesy! My husband loves the lamb lollipops off the appetizer list. Their cocktails are well made and the service is amazing. We recently went for an anniversary and was given a gorgeous ice cream plate with a chocolate saucer that had "happy anniversary" on it. Overall 10/10 experience! Cannot wait to come back in a few weeks!

What a beautiful anniversary dinner! Our server was excellent and enhanced our experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and romantic . Our food was delicious and the house made strawberry ice cream for our anniversary was the proverbial icing on the cake.

Ember is a hidden jewel in Lake Charles , we enjoy Ember each time we’re in town, this is a true 5 Star steakhouse and not to be missed. Steaks cooked perfectly, service is outstanding and food comes out quickly even when busy.

Steal was great. Asparagus was great. Potatoes were like soup yet tasted good lol. They should have failed inspection.
