The seafood basket I ordered from this place was literally the best fried catfish and shrimp I’ve ever had! Being from south Florida and living in Georgia, thats saying a lot because I’ve eaten seafood at numerous spots across different states. Louisiana definitely is a favorite for me when it comes to taste quality in food. Not to mention the cashier was super friendly and informative about my order, if she didn’t know…she left to find out for me. 10/10 recommend when you are in the Lake Charles Louisiana area. ❤️Can’t wait to visit New Orleans soon.

My daughter had lunch with some friends at Spicy Crab. She brought an order of shrimp fried rice with a side crab salad home for me. Generous portion of rice with vegetables and shrimp. Crab salad was fresh and chilled. It was delicious !

Shrimp special for $23 had 1lb of shrimp and 1 cluster of snow crab. Food was good, seasoning was flavorful. Wasn't our first time dining and won't be the last.

When I saw the menu I should have left. Same menu as Mr Crabby in San Antonio. The poor manager was sick. She sat at a table behind us with her head in her arms coughing. Big time distracting. She then moved to the back of the restaurant laying her head on the table. We really felt bad for her,maybe she couldn’t afford to go home. We got out as quickly as we could. Here’s the kicker. We got back to Texas and all four of us tested positive for Covid. Maybe a coincidence.

Waiter was not attnetive. Didn't get us refills. Tried to down sell us food when we wanted all the crabs and shrimp. Had to keep repeating order. Had to repeat ask for butter. Bad attitude. Lazy. But this was some of the best crabs I've ever had. A+ for the kitchen and seafood supplier.

This place is a MUST!! Their boiled seafood can not be beat! They bring it in a bag of buttery, well seasoned goodness! Must try!
