The ladies that take the orders are very nice and kind. The lemon bars are amazing. But I give them 1 star because they have been out of sourdough bread the last 2 times I was in there. Last week I went in after the lunch rush and was told that it sells out quickly and to come in early in the morning. I came in this morning to get a loaf and some lemon bars because my family loves them and they are totally out of sourdough. The lady told me that they didn't have any at all this morning and doesn't know why they don't make more. We usually buy our sourdough loafs from HEB for $4 but I want to see what Great Harvest bread is all about at least once! I'll try one more time next week and if it isnon the shelf I'm just going to forget trying to get bread here.

The spicy turkey sandwich was delicious! It was dressed nicely and not a hint of dryness. I can tell you that the cinnamon rolls deserve five stars alone!! The generous size cinnamon rolls are SUPERB!! Warm them up and they hit another level of sweet flavor!

Oct. 19. 2024 11:00. Placed order asking to heat sandwich and add a cup of soup. Cold sandwich and no soup. This is second time in the last 4 months my order was not right. 1 more and I will go to Burger King...
It pains me to not be able to give this place 5 stars. If it was solely about the food quality, I would but unfortunately it is not. I order from this place very frequently and I just love the food BUT most of the time, I do not receive the food I ordered or it is made incorrectly. I have tried many sandwiches based on the fact that they send me the wrong one so I am trying a new sandwich apart from the one I actually ordered. While they have all been delicious, it would be great to get ONE order sent to me the exact way I ordered it. I don’t always have the convenience of driving to the restaurant on my own to pick up so I rely heavily on online ordering, like most hard working moms do! Just a side note, today I tried the little Italy breakfast sandwich and it was awesome, my tea was missing the almond milk, and lastly I got the roasted carrot tahini grain bowl, which is always amazing.

One of my favorite lunch spots. I’ve never had anything from here I didn’t like and everyone is always friendly. Try a Yardbird salad! You won’t regret it.
Parking: Shared parking lot, can be tricky to find a spot during a rush.

So it’s our first time having this place & we DoorDashed it. But I tell you what, this has to be the best breakfast place in Lake Charles! We had the Little Italy, Jazz and the bread pudding and there was not one complaint! Next time we plan to go in to have a full experience! THANK YOU GREAT HARVEST!

Our go to place for giant cookies! You can not go wrong with anything you choose to order at Great Harvest! Staff is incredibly friendly and service is fast as well. Absolutely recommend the visit!

Vibes: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- immaculate ?? decorated so cute, seasonal menu for baked goods & coffee. Great owner presence & they are very involved in the community.
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - similar menu to somewhere like Panera, but made with love. My favorites are the bread pudding bar, chicken salad, or the grilled cheese (sliced apples & pepper jelly, chefs kiss ?)
Accessibility: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - two handicap parking spots with an adequate ramp, no steps at either door, several low top tables with removable chairs, single stall bathrooms with automatic light. Door isn’t automatic but it’s super light weight & doesn’t immediately slam shut on you. Sturdy grab bars & roll under sink.

Lots of options to choose from! The kitchen is pretty open, its kind of neat to be able to see them working and making it all happen as youre ordering. Their king cakes are delicious!! They have other options like cakes, bars, sandwiches, cookies, and lots of fresh made breads and such as well to choose from. My kids enjoyed the experience as well and my oldest said he wants to help bake bread!
