Disappointing Experience Not Worth the Wait or Price!!!

I had the unfortunate pleasure of ordering food to-go from Lillie’s Asian Cuisine at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles, and my experience was far from impressive. What should’ve been a quick and easy takeout order turned into a frustrating one-hour wait.

When I finally received my food, the chicken fried rice was incredibly bland lacking any real flavor or seasoning and definitely not worth the high price. I also ordered the Asian-style wings, which were decent in taste but nothing special, and certainly not worth waiting an hour for.

For a restaurant inside a high-end casino, I expected much better quality and efficiency. Unfortunately, between the excessive wait time, overpriced dishes, and underwhelming flavor, I left disappointed. I doubt I’ll be returning to Lillie’s anytime soon.

The service is horrible. Period No one acknowledges you when you're waiting for 45 minutes for food Or service then no one knows what's going on with your order

The prices are outrageous for the quality of food. My friend asked for fried rice and they gave her steamed rice and no flavor just SALT. Then the pad Thai had zero flavor even after I put a container of chili oil in my bowl. The shrimp had a very old taste to them as well as the noodles themselves. The noodles were not a good a consistency. Then the orange chicken gave frozen dinner to be specific the pf changs one you get at WALMART. You will do better going to Asia at Lauberge.

Service has gone way downhill. Waited over an hour for main courses and still didn’t get them. What a waste. Paid $100 for a few appetizers while waiting. Honestly none of these restaurants are worth the wait and the cost. Won’t be back. You can’t give Lillies a zero star or you can’t post but it’d be a -5. Kitchen taking longer than normal and no one in restaurant: dining with family from out of town what an embarrassment!!!!!

Twice in 1 month so I have them two chances. Second time with my family and I was embarrassed. Their orange chicken was again tough and inedible. My kung po chicken was kung nothing. The most bland, unappetizing meal. For what they charge go somewhere else in Lake Charles. I would like my money back for the kung po and that roll I still have in my fridge to throw away. Y’all should be ashamed selling that no flavor food at high prices. See the pic. No sauce. Dry dry dry.

Service was incredibly slow. We had the Calamari which wasn’t terrible but bland. The bell peppers helped with flavor but weren’t cooked all the way. We also waited 30 minutes and the calamari wasn’t hot or even warm. We got Lillies pan fried noodles which was the worst decision. The noodles weren’t fried but raw. It is just uncooked ramen noodles. The sauce was incredibly salty. I wish we would have said something but we were so nauseous we had to leave the table as soon as possible and we also hate confrontation. After a couple of hours I can say the nausea has just gotten worse. I am not one to complain at all but there has to be some change to the recipe. I will say our server was incredibly nice to leave this review on a positive note.

Hanana and Leland were OUTSTANDING as for the guy that was supposedly the MANGER you SUCK at customer services and would be embarrassed to call you a my manager !!!!

Host was friendly. Service was slow. I was there before another person and they got served before I was and left before I got my food. Waited a good 15 minutes to get an order in. Took them a good 30 minutes to prepare my order. Very discouraging. Would have been longer if I didn't know what I wanted.

I usually visit Lillies every casino trip, but this experience was brutally slow. I was there for almost an hour and a half for just myself.

I'm sure I'll be back as the food is good, but the service and the time the food was delivered was brutal.

The food had a good taste and the atmosphere was ok.

The service was great, but the food was absolutely terrible! I ordered General Tsao’s chicken with fried rice. The rice was literally steamed with soy sauce poured on it. The chicken was room temperature with warm sauce poured on it. My server was very kind and apologetic.

Good Vietnamese food that is served in the late evenings and reminds me of home. What more can I say?

1. CHEM CHÉP XÀO
Green Mussel tossed in lemongrass handcrafted brown sauce.

2. KIMCHI FRIED RICE
Fried Rice, Kimchi, gochujang soy sauce, topped with fried egg and scallions.

Ordered Crab Cakes, Shaggy Dog Roll, Orange Chicken, Bu Lac Lac & Pad Thai..
everything was delicious and Perfectly Flavored 💯
Our server was super nice too, even on a busy evening she had a smile and was very welcoming.!
Definitely a must try when at Golden Nugget .!

Tried to eat there but stood at the hostess stand for close to 10 minutes with several workers looking at me with no acknowledgment. I finally just left.
