Out of all the places in lake Charles I love Linda’s. The bar tender Speedy is soo awesome. He has such a great personality!!!

I live about 3 road blocks from the very known establishment. Ive been there many times over the years to play pool and have a good time. I visited there a good amount of times in the last few months. The other day I went in and one of the empolyees told me the owner banned me from there. I asked why and she said she didnt know. I left owner a nice note and told her I was disabled and I work part time and was no trouble and that I always politely tip nicely to all her employees. She avoided calling me back and never called me back resolve the issue of why she couldnt come up with a realistic reason as to why she banned me. Everyones assuming that its because of my disibilities. I only order Ice Water when Im there.

Music too loud. It's a small place, so it doesn't take too many people to make it crowded. They have done some great improvements around the outside. Huge front covered patio and a rear covered patio. C'est la vie.

I’ve always had an enjoyable time at Linda’s, however tonight was a different story. Me and a few coworkers (of legal age) entered this establishment after finishing our cigarettes on the front patio and proceeded to pay for a game of pool. After ordering my drink and being informed that the ATM was down (and never has money in it), I was also told that my group and I had to leave because we were smoking “weed” on the patio. While out front, I handed half of my last cigarette to one of my coworkers, who proceeded to finish, and dispose of it. We were only looking to shoot a few games of pool after work and have a couple drinks to decompress. No weed was smoked, but conclusions were jumped to. Hopefully they reach back to apologize for the misunderstanding, (and at least compensate for the game of pool) because I thoroughly enjoy the environment at Linda’s Lounge.

We love the bar! However, we paid a cover charge at eight in the evening when the band did not start till nine. We were leaving at nine. And when we discussed it with the lead singer, and I believe the manager, we got almost no response.I would have appreciated the management of the band or the management of the bar to have understood our situation. That would solved everything. Unfortunately, we walked away with a really bad taste in our mouth.

Went up there on a Thursday night for a open mic and was told by the "leader "of the show / drummer that they didn't want anybody up there bragging or anything but they just would play it by ear ..after the guitar player asked me to come up and sing I got up there and was basically told no by the very off key boisterous _"singer "that they were going to get people dancing LOL did not happen, so you're looking for a jam this is NOT the place to go find somewhere else.. as a local musician I would recommend kalijah to always have a good time ?️

Called 7 times and out of the 7 times, they answered 3 times and when I asked my question, the bartender answered “I cant hear you”. I replied, “ Go somewhere you can hear me”. The person hung up on me.Called back an additional 3 times and the same thing happened… she couldn’t hear me and refuse to go somewhere to hear me and hung up on me.This place lost my business IMMEDIATELY.I don’t do RUDE or UNPROFESSIONAL
