My best friend who is a veteran came in town and I was guiding her on a tour of Lake Charles came here and was turned away because of her service dog bartenders said the owner doesn't care he doesn't want any animals at all on his property and one employee there challenged my friend about her service dog,tried telling her that her dog was not a service animal. Even though she has the correct credentials.....so never trying to visit this establishment again. Not tour worthy and obviously not a veteran friendly establishment.

I got a grilled ham and cheese, it was okay, I probably would not get that again. We had to wait over an hour for our food. Two people in our group of 8 didn't get their food and they just cancelled their order. We sat outside and that was great

If your plan is to eat and relax on the water, Loggerheads is ideal. Live music, patio, great service and food. Bring ya mom and them!

I was with a group of 13. Our waitress was wonderful. Kept our glasses full and appetizers on the table. Most of us had ordered our steaks the day before. So when everyone arrived, she took our steak order. No one was ordering sides so I figured green beans came with it. When the food arrived, it was steak and mashed potatoes. The kind that comes in flakes from a box. For 30 something bucks a plate, I was expecting a baked potato at least. But potatoes from a box was disappointing not to mention there wasn't a vegetable side either. The steak was good but they don't have A1 or Heinz 57. However they do have ketchup. And because it was a birthday party, they did have brownies on the table as well.

Pay the exact amount for what you order. You will never get change back. They automatically take it for a tip. I always tip before I leave, not after each drink. Used to be a good place to go but not anymore.

Atmosphere is great and the food is good. Our server Josey was attentive and friendly. The view is spectacular especially the sunset.
