Food was about like any other Meixcan restaurant. Salsa was decent but not spicy. The waiter wasn't that great. He took a while for everything. And when my coworker asked after waiting about 15 minutes if we were going to get any chips and salsa the guy responded maybe tomorrow. Then it came out right before the food.
If you are into authentic Mexican food, especially street tacos, this place is fire! 5 steak street tacos for me, & a sweet tea, & I left stuffed. Highly recommend this place. Wait staff is super friendly as well.
Los Ponchos of 397 has always been my go-to spot for great food, fast service, and a lively atmosphere.
But what truly set it apart for me in the past was the unforgettable service behind the bar from Keegan! Her humor hit harder than a tequila shot at 11pm, and somehow, she always knew exactly what drink you needed. (She put me on to Palomas — I’ve been hooked ever since.)
I heard she’s back but I haven’t seen her?
Anyways, the drinks miss her. The regulars miss her.
