Mama Rita's kitchen is a family owned business,with home style cooking from scratch. Mama Rita was awesome, very kind and sweet. She even came out to the car with a are good. The food is so good, you can tell it is made from love. It's been about a month since I was in Louisiana but I think about her food almost every other day

I would recommend this place to anyone who is traveling because it is drive-thru and you get your food on the goal there's no eat in here. The food was so very delicious and I got a large portion of it also the lady that waited on us Mama Rita what's the nicest and most wonderful polite person to talk to. The next time I go through there I guarantee you that's going to be my regular stop so if you're looking for good quality food at a good quality price make a quick trip it's worth the money and the stop. I got the gumbo potato salad and a drink

Omg this Chicken and sides was so damn delicious. The favor just marinated in my stomach. Rice and cornbread dressing, cabbage greens, string beans with potatoes. This kinda food have me thinking about moving to Lake Charles. The staff was so friendly. Love everything about it.

As always, Mama Retas fried chicken wings,yams and cabbage was amazing. It is my husband and my go to place 1 Friday a month. We love her food and we love her and Mr. Lee.

I was traveling, and a friend called to recommend we stop here. It was right on the frwy, so we stopped, and this was the best Sunday meal I ever received on a drive thru...I couldn't eat mine immediately because of 2 more hr drive but when I warmed it up at home that fried chicken was so juicy and flavored along with my sides of greens, macaroni and cheese, red beans and cornbread...I was too hungry to take pictures and just dug in 😂🤣😂 just yummy for my tummy.
