Mellow Mushroom Lake Charles

Phoned in an order and when I arrived for pickup, it was sitting on the bar. After waiting for about 7 minutes with no other guests at the counter and no one approaching, I walked back to the host stand and asked her if she could assist me. She goes in the back and someone walks out and rings me up. I get home and discover there’s no garlic aioli or truffle sauce on my Holy Shiitake pizza and the chicken on my Marley is not jerk chicken. It has ZERO seasoning or color on it at all. Disappointed is an understatement.

From the moment we arrived and were seated, the staff exemplified amazing customer service. Isabella was an awesome waitress and checked on us multiple times. Great tasting pizza as well. Did not disappoint!

Absolutely delicious. I went alone and didn’t feel alone. The bartender was very attentive and the drinks and food were great! I could’ve stayed until closing if I hadn’t been so full lol I will be back asap! Three drinks and two appetizers for $40?! Fantastic!!

I hadn’t eaten at mellow mushroom in a long time. In fact last one I ate at was in the DFW Texas area. But this order tonight for the first time in Lake Charles La was disappointing. After spending $135 for three pizzas and three salads. Pizza was not crispy it was soggy. Ceaser salad dressing did not taste homemade !!! Just very disappointed after spending that much money or any money really because I would expect that I was getting what I paid for and I didn’t.

Tried a small two topping pizza and a small Caesar salad. Pizza was good. Liked the crust, sauce and the cheese. A little light with the toppings though. There were a few tables open but had a good crowd. The wait time was about 20 - 25 minutes to get my take out. Not a lot of choices when it comes to pizza in Lake Charles, but I found this place better than the local, long time pizza place around the corner. / Followed up one year later and still coming back for the pizza.

The fine dining of Pizza! Absolutely fantastic pizza and GREAT service! A pleasant surprise every time we go.Update: Fantastic as usual! You just can't go wrong.

Wheelchair accessibility: I am a BAKA amputee and a full-time wheelchair user. I had zero problems gaining access to the restaurant. I did not use the restrooms during our visit.

This is the third AND LAST time we will eat at this restaurant. My hubby and I waited over 1.5 hours for our pizza and calzone while my son and his friends waited almost 2 hours for theirs, and they ordered way before us. We arrived after them and sat at the bar. I questioned my waitress when she finally brought our food (there are a lot of tickets) and then got up and questioned their waitress (they are short staffed).The first time we came here, we had a long wait for our food. We chalked it up to them being new. The second time we came here, we had an extremely long wait again. We spoke with the manager this day. Pizzas kept getting mixed up and taken once they were cooked without waitresses paying attention to the tickets. Tonight was the third and final straw. The wait was absurd and ridiculous.The one thing all 3 visits have in common.....2 hour wait times AFTER the food was ordered. They clearly haven't changed their service level, but we can certainly change our choice of pizza dining.If you are completely free, not overly hungry (you will wait), and have plenty of time to spare (LIKE HOURS), then this is the place for you. If you want to go to a restaurant, sit down and order a meal which is served in a decent time, then pick another pizza place. There are plenty in town.

This is some baller pizza. I love a food place where you can fill up and have a good meal or two worth of leftovers. Their Kosmic Karma is an awesome spin on my fav classic margherita pizza. Also the waitresses are super nice.Will def make this a regular spot. ❤️❤️

The pizza that me and my friend ordered was so greasy, absolutely covered in grease, I’m talking about a puddle of grease under that slice. We ordered a brownie, and the brownie tasted like it was burnt in some parts and raw in others.
