We come to the casino to relax and have some great food and coffee however the Modern Pantry is the worst and only bad thing about going. The last 4 times that we have been here the Modern Pantry is way under staffed at all times during the weekend last 2 time we went they had NO LATTE hot coffee of any kind something was broken but only 2 gals were working and no way they could have made specialty coffees with just one working the kitchen/food prep area and one at register, PLEASE GET MORE WORKERS, also we tried 6 times ..3 on saturday and 3 on sunday to get some items and there was 12 people in line and we waited 15 min and finally gave up. It was so frustrating, we go to get away from stress and Modern Pantry is nothing but a poorly run coffee shop DO BETTER PLEASE

This pantry is located inside of the casino. It’s an easy option to stop and get a quick bite to eat. The chicken salad sandwiches were delicious and the service was good. I don’t typically like to eat at full restaurants went at a casino because I’ve got too many other things I want to check out. Eating is just to get fuel and get back out there. The decor side is like a French bistro. They have grab and go items and it’s easy to check out. Seating is available inside the space. Two sandwiches and two bags of chips were $25. Not bad for a casino.

I ordered a cappuccino. My buddy ordered an iced coffee and asked for half and half. I received a black coffee and my buddy watched the gal pour in half coffee and half cream into his cup and give him his “half and half iced coffee.” We asked her about it and I showed her my coffee - she said the black coffee was a cappuccino. She must’ve been covering for someone, but she clearly has no idea what she’s doing. She didn’t know the difference between a black coffee and a cappuccino, and must’ve thought half and half meant half coffee and half cream. Unbelievable. We just laughed and walked away.

The restaurant was absolutely horrible. We waited over 40 minutes for a pre made meatball sub to be put in a toaster to melt the cheese. There were 3 employees that were looking around cluelessly. There was no form of organization. I am upset that L’Auberge would allow a business to be within their business and be so chaotic that all customers are upset and confused. If I could leave a 0 star I definitely would do so.There was another customer who was charged for gumbo and they had no gumbo on site.The place is just a disaster when it comes to customer service and management.

Night shift staff has bad attitudes and poor work ethic. The guy with black hair needs to check his attitude before he speaks to customers. The last two times I have been in this establishment his attitude has been real nasty(smells like someone needs to get fired). There was also a guy with braids who scratched his head and proceeded to pet a dog and went back to preparing food like it was nothing(nasty). I have no idea who trained them but they need to be retrained and why is there never a manager around? The food is alright but the entire staff needs to be thrown in the trash.

My review is about dessert and the lemon bar I had was hands down the BEST I have ever had and I have had quite a few! Tart, sweet, rich and buttery with a light crust.

This place has really good chicken paninis and desserts. But the pregnant black girl and the girl with the reddish magenta highlights in the front area of her hair have disgusting attitudes. Other than that this place is okay.
