My experience at Nina P's makes me want to go back and redo a lot of my five star reviews. This place is a true 5⭐️experience when it comes to the food, service, atmosphere, and music. A place you go and feel like you were invited over for dinner. I had a few things off the menu from boudin egg roll, blackened catfish, and crawfish balls with a great sauce. The staff is as amazing as they are beatiful providing top tier service.

So I went to Nina P today for the first time after wanting to try for a long time but I was not able to even try. Another couple and along with my table were seated quickly but we sat at our table for what seemed like almost 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table to offer us a drink or even a glass of water to start. The table beside us we which sat at the same time as us were offered drinks and even appetizers but not a waitress in site to our table as they just pass by, we got up and walked to the door and someone came to say they were in the middle of shift change but as a person who works in the restaurant industry it was such an unpleasant first time experience.

We had a wonderful experience at Nina P’s Café in Lake Charles. The staff was attentive without hovering, the food was flavorful and comforting, and the ambiance felt like the Louisiana I picture in my mind—warm, lively, and full of character. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. Highly recommend!

The greeter ruined it. Horrible service. They won’t get another dollar from me. 1/31/26 we ordered on line. Suppose to be ready at 5:39. We stood there for an hour after asking her if our food was ready. It sat on the bar counter top where we watched her put it. Then after asking every 20 minutes. She asked us if we wanted to place an order. Food was cold from sitting for so long.
The gumbo smelled the burnt roux in the truck. When we got home it tasted more burnt than it smelled. Went through all that trouble for some junk.
