Old Bastard's Bar and Grill

Tried this place a month or two ago didn’t get acknowledged for 30 minutes and and really didn’t get checked up on. but tried to give it another try tonight and the service is just horrible took 30 minutes just to get a drink and we waited for a good while and never got our food

Literally let every other girl and boy in besides my best friend we waited in line for an hour and she used la wallet then they didn’t let her in the girl at the front.

We were on vacation in lake charles and stopped here for lunch. Very much enjoyed it. Quiet at the bar, if course it was day time during the week. The shrimp basket was huge! The hamburger with egg looked amazing and husband did it was! Great drinks

We were visiting the town and the waitress was so sweet, she wrote us a list of local attractions to check out. Fun music and vibe, good food and great staff. Will definitely be back!

The service wasn't great they were too quick to leave the table while getting our orders and of course things were incorrect because nothing is wrote down anymore. I wasn't too crazy about the food and my boyfriend got bad crabs and a nasty bloody Mary so not sure if we will be trying the food here again or not but I did enjoy the pickles and peppers but that's about it.

We were recommended to try this place due to them serving snow crab legs. We drove him from out of state for work and when we got there we discovered that they only serve the snow crab legs on the weekend. We did not see that anywhere on their web page before driving out there. Otherwise, the staff was wonderful and redirected us to where we could get what we were looking for. They also invited us back for their seafood specialties if we are back in town on the weekend. The bar and grill itself was pretty dark on the inside, but I guess that is normal for this establishment. They also had a stage set up for live music . Like I said, is the bartender and the waiter staff were very friendly towards us.

We walked in to the place and sat down, and not one person acknowledged us for 10 minutes. The volume of the music was ear-splitting and the employees were laughing and talking very loudly. All the while we were sitting. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. We left and no one even noticed. I give it negative 5 stars!

Plenty of parking. Clean and relaxed ambiance. Patio seating available. Tuesday burger special for $4 was a treat. They were large and delicious. Good customer service. Can't wait to return.

We've been here a few times for lunch and dinner. The crawfish is some of the best you'll ever have in Louisiana! But the womens restroom has been disgusting both times. Every stall dirty with stains on the walls, floor, mirrors, and toilets. Minimal soap and paper towels. We came three weeks apart- bathrooms looked the same on the second visit as they did the first. Not sure they had been cleaned since our first visit. If you're going for crawfish you will happy just maybe find somewhere else to clean up afterwards!

With this being said, I did walk in on a shift change. Over 15 mins before I was asked for a drink, mind you, I was sitting at the bar. Felt like they just wanted us to leave. As people came in, they all got a drink . Still not even asked if I wanted a drink . Tables now getting food and drinks before I was asked if I wanted a drink. Now, a cook has come out, and I asked her if I was allowed to get a drink. Here is the saving grace. She brought me a drink and a menu and took our order. It might be just an one time thing, and if the food was even okay, I would make an attempt to go back. Now, the food dry unseasoned the lowest quality. I would not recommend this place. I go to wash my hands, and the bathroom is like something out of a horror show. Ya this place is bad. All the way around.

Seemed like a nice place but I guess I fell through the cracks. 15-20 minutes to get waited on. Wasn't that busy.
