Pat’s is a wonderful place to enjoy a date night or family dinner. The food is always great and full of flavor. We changed up our usual meal choices for the night, and they didn’t disappoint. My husband and I started out with a couple of cups of gumbo which were delicious as always. I had the Cajun fried chicken cutlets with garlic mashed potatoes and scratch cream gravy which were very flavorful. My husband tried the stuffed red snapper, and he could not stop raving about it (he’s not a big seafood eater, so that’s a big deal). My father in law enjoyed the wedge salad for his meal, and they definitely don’t skimp on those. Our waiter was very attentive and very personable, and the atmosphere was great.

If I could give a zero star I would. We were there over two hours. Half the table got the food about thirty minutes before ( with most of it being cold). One person never got their food, hamburger tasted like it had been cooked with seafood. The bill was over 300.00 and bless their heart they credited an appetizer The manager was there but never came out to say a word. We asked to talk to them and never saw them. Won’t be back and I wouldn’t advise you going

Dear Pats, your food, as good as it is, has become EXCEEDINGLY WAY TOO SPICY, PEPPER HOT! Really need to tone it down. This is not just my experience, I have heard this from several people.

I had the seafood gumbo and French toast. The butter that was served with the toast was oh so amazing!!!! The seafood gumbo was good but extremely spicy. My lips were burning! The young man that was our waiter was wonderful 😊 The place is pricy but I only had a cup of gumbo for $11

9/26/25 Truly a redemptive experience. Our first try awhile back was rough, but management reached out promptly with a phone call. They were sincere, took accountability, and invited us back to make it right- great customer service. Took us awhile to make it back out since we live an hour away, but I'm glad we did.
Seafood gumbo was one of the best I've had. Roux was dark but not burnt like so many places do. Rich but not overly heavy like a gravy- exactly my preference. Spice was spot on.
Broiled snapper strips from the lunch menu were well-seasoned and well cooked, and a generous portion for a lunch entrée. I topped them with lobster bisque which was richer and creamier than I'm used to for a bisque but it paired great with the snapper. So many other things I'd like to try but the combination was such a winner it'll be hard to order anything else in the future!
Cajun fried chicken cutlets came out hot and crispy and the mashed potatoes were great. Different breading than usual fried chicken was really enjoyable.
Can't remember the name of the cocktail, but it was a 5/5. Service was solid and 2 different managers stopped by to check in.
Great food and service completely flipped our first impressions, thanks for the great experience!
