We ordered 4 different dishes, The steamed rice was clumpy and dry, the chicken and cashews, and the cashew were burnt, the same for the peanut, and the shrimp and noodles were good.

Decor was pretty and set a nice mood. Air conditioning was set to “frozen tundra” and our food was cold because of it. The white rice tasted dry and grainy. Fried wontons were tasty but everything else we ordered was mediocre. Mongolian beef was flavorless. Sweet and sour chicken was overcooked.

They LITERALLY have the BEST egg rolls in the entire world! I cannot find anyone that comes close to comparing.

They didn't give me all my food. The food I did receive was good.

Peking has been one of the best restaurants in Lake Charles for the past 40 years! Their food has always been excellent in taste, consistency, and presentation. Their staff is always kind and will go out of their way to make your visit special.

Good food and plenty of it to bring home.

Been a few years since we’ve eaten here, and what a disappointment. Every appetizer and main dish ordered by all 4 guests, looked and tasted like it was left over from a previous day. The servings were huge, but what does that matter when the food is inedible!

Sat at table hoping to be waited on. Waitress served people that came AFTER ME . NEVER CAME TO MY TABLE. Some kid was at front desk and i told her i had to leave because i could not get service. She said ok bye. You would have thought she would care that the few customrrs they have one would be leaving. This place has been going downhill for several years. Rumors are they may be closing. They need to.

I lived in Lake Charles for 10 years and this is still my favorite restaurant. No buffet just large portions of great food at a reasonable price. The mixed drinks are excellent the Mai Tai is my favorite you mite need a DD if you have more than one 😉

Waitress was waiting on patrons that came after we did. We had to get her attention for services. Then, when she did come and take our orders, she went back to the other table to speak with them without turning our order in. Didn't bring straws. We had to get up and get it. Didn't have time to eat due to lunch break. We asked for to go boxes asap knowing she was slow and of course she waited on another table before bringing boxes, plus brought wrong size cups for sauce. We normally go there once every 2 weeks, but I will not be returning. The other tall young waitress is very good and fast, but this lady very slow and don't seem to care. We figure she must be family to the owner

I almost never leave reviews, certainly not bad ones. But last night was the worst dinner I’ve had in a long time. The food was okay, the egg rolls were really good. But the service was AWFUL. The server was a very elderly lady who was very kind at first but quickly became rude, we were rushed, she didn’t get orders right because she didn’t want to listen to us explain our orders, she WOULD NOT let us get our own checks, she tried to split the bill 4 ways evenly when we all ordered different items.. I don’t think I’ll ever be going back again.

Best egg rolls in Lake Charles. The hot and sour soup has changed somewhat but still tasty. Beef and broccoli perfect.

Not a fan of when restaurants have wildly named dishes on their menu that don’t exist anywhere else with no description. I don’t want to have to quiz the waitress on what all the dishes are. They use imported shrimp. I wasn’t very impressed with the food, but the interior is nicely decorated.
