When I'm Lake Charles I always stop here for Pho. Broth is clear and flavorful. I wish they added more Jalapeño and Asian cilantro. The bowl is generous in size, and service is quick
I have eaten at many Pho restaurants in Houston, but Pho World has the most traditional Vietnamese taste. I am glad to live in Lake Charles, will continue to come back to support the restaurant.
I always order the shrimp spring rolls and regular beef pho
10/10
Great Pho soup
I want to start with the worst part of my experience—there were roaches. Not just on the floor, but one was actually crawling on my table.
As for the service, it was terrible. My waiter, who looked like a teenager, had his headphones on while serving my food. I literally had to ask him to take them off just so I could request more limes. After bringing out my food, he never checked back. When I went to find him, he was at the register, still wearing his headphones, glued to his phone.
Now, onto the food. This is the most disappointing part because, out of all the pho spots I've tried in the area, this one comes the closest to an authentic recipe. Unfortunately, it still wasn’t great. The meat tasted stale, the bean sprouts were clearly old, and I was given just one tiny sprig of cilantro. My spring rolls were also underwhelming.
Overall, I do not recommend this place—unless you enjoy bugs, old food, and being ignored.
Nice service, clean restaurant, good food. I really enjoyed the fried tofu a lot. Then their noodles bowls are really good too!
Horrible service . Waiting 30 mins for appetizer and still no coffee that ordered . Food was over 50 mins for pho . Restaurant dirty and customer service terrible . Will never be back
This is a regular place for me. The pho is pretty good. I’m not much of a fan of the rest of the menu. I really wish there were more Vietnamese dishes.
Awesome
Everything I ordered tasted authentic and delicious. So happy I remembered this restaurant was on my list to try.

Clean restaurant, friendly service, and awesome pho.
The food is excellent. The service was quite on par. They didn't bother me much except for taking orders and delivering the food. They have a giant hand painted mural on the wall which is really nice to look at. They have a few booths you can sit in that aren't visible from the outside. Lots of natural lighting during the day.

It was kinda tucked in the little strip mall by market basket and kinda hard to find since the sign didn't immediately stick out among the others. With that being said, the food was excellent, my daughter and I had the vermicelli with beef, the one below the house special. My son had the beef pho and said it was very good as well.

Out of all of the food places, I go here the most often. I'm so predictable because I love their chicken pho, dumplings, and beef spring rolls lol that's all I want every time I go there. I highly recommend their chicken Pho. I am from up North and I still haven't found a pho place better than this one. I feel like it's healing as well, because if I am ever sick or mentally stressed their chicken pho does it for me everytime. I remember one time I had a cold. I ate their pho and the next day my cold was gone. Highly recommend.
