I think this location is under staffed i normally go at night when I get off and I order from the app as im clocking out. Numerous times I had to wait 30+ mins once even an hr. Nothing special just chicken tenders for my kids. I never complained because I understand its late in the day i get it. But when I ordered something like around 3ish they had me wait 30mins. Then a woman who ordered the samething mild chicken tenders came in from outside said they told her to pull around and she was waiting over an hr. When she confronted the cashier. The cashier talked to the manager about it her response was didnt we been sent that out. I was dead for her when I heard that.

I go up to place my order amd they tell me that only have certain pieces,,, they are not customer ready

Customer service at this location was extremely disappointing. The staff displayed a disrespectful attitude when I asked a simple question, and my order was incorrect.

I politely called the store and asked to speak with a supervisor or manager regarding the issue. I was told that no manager was available, and the employee abruptly hung up while I was speaking. When I called back, I informed the employee who answered that someone had disconnected the call. She responded that they were busy. However, when I left the store earlier, there were no customers inside, and when I returned, there were only a few cars in the drive-thru while several employees were working.

The lack of professionalism and poor customer service were unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at this location. Because of how this situation was handled, I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this location to others.

I visited Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen recently and honestly it was just okay. The chicken was crispy like always, but the service was really slow and it felt like nobody was in much of a hurry to help the people waiting in line. I think it is fine if you are really hungry and just need something quick, but do not expect a perfect experience.

Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches ahead of time on the app, got there asked me to pull forward, sat in the line for an hour. Got fed up walked in they said they didn’t have chicken sandwiches and basically left us there for an hour with no intention of saying anything. Always have problems with this location

My husband & I stopped here today (5/23/2026) for little late lunch. & the crew that is working is awesome. They are pulling there own weight.💯

I'm making this review bcuz of one person. She was running the register inside. We seen she was busy so instead of rushing her, my husband left his phone in the truck & we went out to get his phone & the lady (I don't know her name or I would be using her name) came chase us down outside bcuz she didn't want us to leave without eating.

My husband & I have visited several Popeyes & other establishments & this was the first time, an employee made sure a customer ate first & offered some type of explanation as to why it was taking her a minute to take our order.

We all started laughing & we told her, we was just getting his phone out the truck but when she came running outside after us, she had the biggest smile saying, I will come chase you down lol.

She most definitely needs a raise & to be recognized as an outstanding employee for her great customer service & hard work. She was doing so many things at one time.

She was the absolute best, as well as all the other employees that were working today (5/23/2026 @ around 1pm). They were on there (excuse my language) shit!💯

I will definitely be coming eat here when I'm in Lake Charles, La.

If anyone of you guys see my review that was working today, keep up the good work & it definitely didn't go unnoticed. Y'all were on top of y'alls game today!!💯❤

Food was great the lady working the register was the nicest lady I've encountered at a poppeys I left the counter to go to my truck get my phone she chased us down to make sure we got some food from here that's was pretty cool never had that happen before but she definitely is a hard worker I wish I knew her name she definitely deserves a raise thanks a lot I enjoyed the food and atmosphere
