This is my go-to mexican resturant. At lunch time it's not super packed which I like. The food is always yummy. I never have issues. I go probably once a month. I ate chips and queso, steak quesedilla, and a mango margarita.
Parking: Parking can be difficult at times. It starts a parking lot with a strip mall.
Kid-friendliness: Always kid friendly at all times of the day. Not a bar but does have alcoholic beverages.
I wanted to take a moment to recognize Casa Manana Tex-Mex , Que Pasa Taqueria Pasa Taqueria and Darren Martel for supporting our community.
One thing Lake Charles isn't lacking is Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurants. Casa Mañana and Que Pasa however, have been serving our community awesome food and service for 48 and 18 years respectively. That type of longevity can only occur when a restaurant is doing right by its customers. That's what a restaurant has to do to survive that long.
What it doesn't have to do to be successful is to give back. As we in Louisiana say, "that's lagniappe." That's what the Martels offer SWLA. I want to thank them for supporting the children in need in our community and the Kiwanis Club of Lake Charles. Please support two businesses that invest in making our community better!

We had a reservation, and they had our table ready with chips/salsa as soon as we walked in. Our entire party was not there as scheduled and was trickling in, but the server was really prompt with our drink order. I ordered the street taco plate and asked for no onions. The plate came exactly as I ordered. The beef was cold, which was very disappointing. Fortunately for me, my husband ordered the combination fajitas. I placed the beef from my taco on his skillet to heat it up. Everyone in our party seemed to enjoy the food and the company. The server was great. Would I eat here again? Yes.

We always go here and get the same thing. But, tonight for a birthday dinner, I decided to get the Fajita quesadilla. It came with only 4. They were very skimpy. No bed of lettuce,or any lettuce for that matter. 1 tbs.each of guacamole and sour cream. I asked our waiter if this was correct? He said he would check in it. Or party was quite large and he was waiting our table solo, so by the time he delivered all of the food, my food was cold. I just asked him to bring a to go box and I would doctor it up at home and bring it to work for lunch. When he brought the bill, it was $36 for 1 Fajita quesadilla, 1 tea and 1 water!! I was even charged for the guacamole and sour cream! My husband and I go to this place every week, but I'm rethinking this. This is just beyond ridiculous! I didn't even think to take a picture of my food.

I absolutely loved the service. The beautiful young lady named Lenny was our server. she was very quick, perfect manors. She went above and beyond and even watched her help another waiter that was struggling. the food was great drinks as well. loved the way it was decorated! We will definitely be going back.

Best thing about this place is Chase. Weve had him four or five times that weve been here and it's like this guy never has a bad day. He always has a smile on his face. Hes attentive and gets our food and drinks out fast. Hes always very professional and personable.

Hands down best Mexican spot I’ve been to since getting here in Louisiana. I’ve been visiting here for almost a week and when my friend suggested Mexican I wasn’t expecting this amazing place. The girl at the window, Katie I believe, is so kind and patient when I’m trying to decide on which meal I want to try. Will probably be back tomorrow!

Stopped here before my family and I left on the road back home and the food was amazing! The woman at the window, Katie, was very kind and helped us choose some food options since we had never been there before. When we come back we are definitely hitting this spot again!
