“I absolutely love this salad bar. I would go every day if I could. The staff is usually very polite but sometimes they don't listen. And I highly recommend if you are presenting your phone to scan the rewards arcade, make sure you don't have tap to pay or quick access enabled on your phone since the scanner used for the rewards barcode is conveniently behind the card reader and it will just take your money. It happened to me yesterday and I was trying to use my rewards points and instead I was charged full price on the wrong card which overdraft my account.“

“Went to Olive Garden to have a nice meal and instead had a roach run across the table while we were eating.. My coworkers and I brought it to their attention and they offered us another seat. Not very customer friendly and did not comp us for the meal. Will never visit this restaurant again!“

“Positive-The rooms are nice clean and comfortable. We been here twice recently. We stayed in a King room and a King Balcony Room. Both rooms were very nice. Plenty of parking. Parking lot in front of hotel and a parking garage behind the hotel. Valet parking is an option if you want to pay. Couple of restaurants Brew Brothers and Gordon Ramsey Steakhouse. Didn’t eat at Gordon Ramsey’s but we ate breakfast then dinner at Brew Brothers. Descent food nothing to write home about. Brew Brothers is on the Casino Floor so no kids allowed. Better options downtown Lake Charles. Dunkin Donuts in the Casino good breakfast option reasonably priced. Casino is great for couples for a getaway. Excellent customer service from all Casino employees the times I’ve visited. Negative-This is NOT a kid friendly or family oriented hotel. NOTHING for kids to do. Pool is 21 and up ONLY!!! If you have kids a better option to stay would be L’Auberge or Golden Nugget. Brew Brothers Restaurant is on the Casino Floor NOT a family restaurant. There are 2 sets of doors in the parking garage one that says “Casino” and the other “Hotel”. Plenty of parking however, you cannot park and carry your luggage across the Casino floor. Have to use the “Hotel” entrance in the garage. It is a long walk to the to the front desk. Have to go to the second level to access hotel rooms then use the elevator there to go to the main floor to check in and access the rest of the hotel. My overall rating would be about 3 1/2 stars.“
