The Buzz Coffee and More

Since discovering The Buzz, it has rapidly become one of my favorite places in Lake Charles! I live on the other side of town but go out of my way at least once a week to fuel my frozen Yellow Jacket addiction. I was given a taste of their Popeye New Orleans snowball, absolutely FABULOUS, so good that I’ll probably double my visits when summer gets here. Everyone that works there is always in great moods, SMILING and genuinely seems happy to be there. If I need to meet with a client or someone for business, this is my first go to place and so far, everyone has loved it. When you put the fabulous coffee & treats with the overall ambience it makes something such as a mundane coffee stop turn into a delicious feel good experience! Bonus information…The Buzz is a small, women owned local business AND is less expensive than her big corporate competitor!!! #supportsmalllocalbusiness

Every time I’m having a bad day the buzz uplifts me! Maggie and her crew always have smiles and the best energy. Also have yall seen their lunch menu?! Their wraps are the best, especially that chicken bacon ranch! From coffee to pastries to lunch they have it all.give them a try and you’ll be fining like me

I’m obsessed with this place! If I could come here every day I would! They don’t have a bad drink/food item on their menu.

I have never had a drink or snack that wasn't tasty or service that wasn't pleasant! 10/10 recommend. My favorite coffee shop these days.

What a vibe! The coziest coffee shop I've been to in Lake Charles. I want to know who their decorator is. Food was delicious. Tried the waffle, ham and cheese croissant, spinach and feta pastry and kolache. All delicious. Strong recommendation on the Poppy Lotus for a drink. Was awesome.

Not that easy to find. A sign close to the road/driveway would tremendously help clientele find their way in there. I have been driving oast this place for 6 months and never knew it was there

I ordered a Bumble Bee(white chocolate mocha) iced with oat milk and whipped topping and I am in lovvvvve. I've had coffee all over Lake Charles, and The Buzz is definitely my new favorite. ?

I think the girls who served me were Blair and Megan! I told them I'd forget their names, but I hope I got that right. ? They served me with smiles and we chatted while they got my order ready. I am SO impressed by this business already! If you have a coffee craving, go check them out!

THE BUZZ COFFEE & MORE:

Vibes: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I am a firm believer in supporting local businesses & I will gladly spend my money here over big name coffee shops. Theyre constantly coming out with themed menus & changing their decor with seasons. There are lots of plug in’s for laptops or phone chargers. The baristas are the sweetest in town! So friendly & always seem very happy to be at work which is refreshing.

Coffee/food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I have nearly tried the entire menu, to no one’s surprise ? my absolute faves on the coffee menu are the iced honeybee (honey, vanilla & cinnamon) or the rowdy (coconut & caramel). The pastries are from Helen st bake house & are also divine! Aside from coffee & pastries, they also sell egg cups, overnight oats, bluebell ice cream & snowcones!

Accessibility: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I frequent the drive thru 2x a week minimum but it is so cute & chill inside. For a huge, brand new build, this parking lot disappoints me (not the buzz’s fault at all). There are 2 handicapped spots with a ramp near the buzz & another set a few doors down. No automatic button at front door. There are plenty of low top tables with removable chairs but they are heavy & well made, so be aware of that. Bathroom is genderless, single stall, average sized with a grab bar. I’ve used it with my walker & it was fine but I think a full size wheelchair would be tight!
