The Terrace Restaurant at Lake Area Adventures

The food and the atmosphere at this place are great. However, I’m giving it 3 stars because the service is VERY slow. Even on days they’re not busy, the food takes about 45mins-1hr to arrive. Table service is also slow. Knowing this, I decided to order a drink from the bar that I could sip on while waiting for my food. The one drink I ordered took 35 mins to get to the table, and then the food arrived shortly after.

Reservations made through OpenTable aren’t honored. They just said they don’t use OpenTable when we showed up. They did accommodate us however which was appreciated. It’s the 2nd time I’ve tried, and I just can’t go back. They serve bottomless mimosas in tiny plastic glasses, and can’t get timely refills. Service was super slow both times. Food was ok. I had high hopes and tried for a 2nd time only because they took reservations on OpenTable, but they don’t even do that anymore so it’s a no from now on. Good luck to them and hope it turns around.

I visited The Terrace yesterday with high hopes for a fun evening, and while I did enjoy playing bingo with my friends, my experience with the service left a lot to be desired.

To start, when I ordered my drinks, I asked for margaritas on the rocks. I was not informed that they only come in a small size, and after waiting 20 minutes, the server returned to tell me that I could only have frozen margaritas instead. It would have been helpful if she had communicated this upfront so that we weren't left waiting.

Next, we ordered some starters, including wings, and I specifically asked for one portion with two different flavors. Instead, she brought us two separate sets of wings with only six pieces each. I decided to pay for this mix-up, even though I hadn't requested two portions.

When the bill arrived, it was a shocking $73 more than what we expected. The server charged us for eight margaritas when we only had four, and she added a fruit drink that we never ordered. To make matters worse, she had to amend our bill three times, and it was still incorrect at the end of it all.

This experience was incredibly frustrating, and I left feeling disappointed. I won't be returning to The Terrace again. The service was disorganized and unprofessional, which overshadowed what could have been a fun night out. I suggest they improve their communication and billing processes before I consider giving them another chance.

We had an amazing time at THE TERRACE SUNDAY R&B Brunch! Our server, Briar, was so much fun! The food came out in a very timely manner and it was delicious! We also enjoyed delicious drinks and the sounds of DONNIE GLENN on the 1s & 2s. Thank you!

Great atmosphere to hang out while the kids have fun!

The Terrace restaurant has good food, a great atmosphere and live music. Our kids love Lake Area Adventures so this is a win for us! The staff is friendly and always makes our time there enjoyable. Bryce is our go to bartender and treats us like family. If you’re looking for a family and adult friendly place, look no more.

Y’all don’t sleep on The Terrace!!! Food was AMAZING!! The Bread Pudding is to die for!!!

The Terrace is always amazing! Our server, James, was phenomenal.

If you’re looking for a place to go for drinks and a good time, this is the place to go. We had James as a server and he did a great job. The drinks from Bryce, the bartender, were so good. I got the pepper Jack bites which were ok. But the bayou shrimp is something everyone should try. Overall, you should come by and check out this place for yourself.

Fast and friendly service with James. Kept the drinks coming. Food was delicious! Definitely recommend.

Kids were running through out unsupervised from the Adventure part of the facility through the Terrace and outside and back all night. The food was ediable and wait staff attentive.

It was our first time at The Terrace. I was a little hesitant at first since this was an adult lunch date at a kid's party space, but the ambiance and vibe of this place was superb. Our waiter's energy and enthusiasm to service us was infectious, as well as Sarge, who owns the establishment. Will definitely be back again.
