The food is amazing, hot, fresh and very tasty. Kelsie and Bry are the absolute best, they made our visit memorable. The cinnamon ice cream and bread pudding is delicious.

I love the convenience of my kiddo playing in a safe environment while I’m able to have date night or girls night out knowing I’m under the same roof as my kids if they may need me for anything! The live entertainment, amazing food and top tier cocktails… what more could you ask for!

We had a great evening with family and friends! The food was amazing and our host Rylie was even better she was knowledgeable, very friendly and was very much on top of our order!!! We definitely recommend this place for a family outing or just a date night!!! Will definitely be back 🤗

Lake Area Adventures is truly a gem. After care program is absolutely phenomenal. The concession in the back offers an impressive array of choices. The Terrace serves up the most delectable food. My personal favorite is the chicken skewers with potatoes and broccoli instead of salad. I also thoroughly enjoy the garlic Parmesan wings as well. The front desk boasts the best customer service always smiling always has a good attitude. Just a fantastic family friendly place.

New to Lake Charles area. The Terrace has excellent staff, friendly, knowledge about the area, impeccable service. The outdoor patio is beautifully designed. The indoor bar/ dining area has a very unique rustic edge design with a classy flare. Highly recommend! Will definitely be going back.

The Terrace Restaurant at Lake Area Adventures provided exceptional catering service for our recent event. From start to finish, the experience was seamless - ordering was incredibly easy and their pricing was excellent for the quality we received.
The food was absolutely outstanding! Our guests raved about every dish, especially the seafood lasagna and chicken and beef tenderloin skewers. The hamburger steak with mashed potatoes was comfort food at its finest, and the Brussels sprouts and grilled vegetables were perfectly prepared. The bread pudding dessert was the perfect ending to an amazing meal.
What impressed us most was how the quality of the food genuinely elevated our entire event. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! The Terrace Restaurant team clearly takes pride in their craft, and it shows in every bite.
We give the Terrace our full recommendation for both dining and catering services. Thank you for helping make our event so memorable!

This place is horrible I waited 30 minutes before even getting a drink. The servers are rude and when the food finally did get there it was gross. All I had was a burger and I couldn’t finish it. Hands down worst place I have been in a long time.

The first time we tried the Terrace, we were not impressed. The food, for the price, wasn’t incredible. In fact, we needed salt & pepper for the dishes, which is a first for us. The service was very slow - we had to get up and find the salt & pepper ourselves on one of their service shelves. Well, we always give places a second chance, so we went back last night. Again, the service was incredibly slow. There may have been a fair amount of tables when we first sat down, but the cleared out pretty quickly. Well, it took over 45 minutes for us to get a couple of margaritas. When our dishes finally came out - a burger and shrimp & grits - we were disappointed once again. My husband’s burger was extremely well done (burnt) and no condiments were on it. When he asked the waitress for condiments, it took her a good 15 mins to come back with it, because instead she sat down at another table to chat with the people seated there. My grits were hot and creamy, but again, no salt or seasoning. I had to request salt & pepper again. The shrimp were fresh, but tasted like they were just boiled in plain water. I’m very upset to have gone here twice now, and paid a pretty hefty price, to leave so disappointed. It’s such a shame because the atmosphere there is so nice. I wish the owner & chef took more pride in their service and the dishes that they served.

Great place. we went for Bingo night! It was such a blast. The Terrace is very kid friendly with plenty for them to do.
The only downside was they briefly ran out of clean utensils. However, this was quickly resolved.
I must point out that I won an awesome bingo shirt.

The food and the atmosphere at this place are great. However, I’m giving it 3 stars because the service is VERY slow. Even on days they’re not busy, the food takes about 45mins-1hr to arrive. Table service is also slow. Knowing this, I decided to order a drink from the bar that I could sip on while waiting for my food. The one drink I ordered took 35 mins to get to the table, and then the food arrived shortly after.
